Virginia Gold Pan Sampling Advice (From a Geologist!!)

Virginia Gold Pan Sampling Advice (From a Geologist!!)

In this short video I talk about some of the methodology that I use to initially gauge the gold potential for large swaths of land. I routinely sample properties of over 500 acres to determine if they warrant further exploration methods, such as various geophysical methods or drilling. These methods also work for the small-scale prospector to determine if a property they have access to is worth putting more time into. This method should work for most of the Southeastern United states, where gold is very closely related to its original hard rock source.
