My hats off to you for crawling in to that sand trap. I was thinking the same thing about what a great place to metal detect. Also, that’s that maybe a good place for bottles to be hiding. If you go back there be sure to shoot a video of it. I’m sure that would be awesome! Thanks for saving the turtles too. 👍🏻

  5. BeerDiaryShootin mcdaniel on December 8, 2022 at 12:24 am

Is this the one with the old tombstones around one of the vent shafts?

  6. William Wilson on December 8, 2022 at 12:25 am

Don’t have the water drone anymore? Be great in that flooded shaft. So you’re Garrett now, not Fisher?

  7. TheGreatest on December 8, 2022 at 12:25 am

    So no whisky jugs then.

  11. Dave Odell on December 8, 2022 at 12:29 am

That’s not the entrance to the mine

  12. Music House on December 8, 2022 at 12:29 am

Dang Brandon! That mine crawl was super-sketchy – it isn’t worth getting trapped, or bit by a rabid bat, or cave-in, or…. Great job on saving the Turtles! Also that mushroom was as big as a house!

  13. Logan Gaymer on December 8, 2022 at 12:31 am

Braver than I am, dang that’s crazy.

  14. The Mobleys on December 8, 2022 at 12:31 am

Another promising area! All those leaves would make me want to get a leaf blower and clear it out, lol.

  15. Sonny Pate on December 8, 2022 at 12:31 am

Those mines with all that good ventilation would have been a great place for a still. Back in the 20s-40s I bet there was one in there.

  16. Cyberleader Andy on December 8, 2022 at 12:33 am

Cool you went back for the rope. Well done guys.

  22. truk stop honey on December 8, 2022 at 12:35 am

@adventurearchaeology I live in WB and I would like to know what part of WB this video was taken in because there are multiple mines around here. I have always been interested in mines and the history behind them. I can take you to the muscoda mines that fed us steel and some other mines in birmingham. Il drop you some pins if you can drop me some?

  31. QS77 on December 8, 2022 at 12:46 am

You’re more of a man than me Brandon. I’m super claustrophobic and literally had an anxiety attack watching this video. Nice job, I love the exploration videos!

  32. Robert zumwalt on December 8, 2022 at 12:47 am

    Bigfoot will save the tutorials

  33. Drunk Dunc on December 8, 2022 at 12:49 am

Always pays to read every letter on a bottle. If the mistake is in the name it’s a bit more obvious than in a word like" proprietary " so I would have thought your bottle would have been rare as hens teeth. Got a few old beer bottles with spelling errors that are pretty valuable now👍🍺

  34. Jamppa 80 on December 8, 2022 at 12:52 am

    Awesome 😎👍

  35. STEVE Clark on December 8, 2022 at 12:54 am

Thank you for the adventure and seeing some amazing scenery and beautiful scenery ! Take care , stay safe and healthy with whatever or wherever you maybe going or doing next ! Thank you for saving those turtles ! Doing well here in Kansas .

  36. Adventure Archaeology on December 8, 2022 at 12:57 am

Everyone keep in mind this is not a cave…. this is a mine. Mines are much more dangerous. This one not being supported and the air shafts being collapsed makes it even more dangerous. If it was a cave I would have went until I couldn’t anymore haha!

  37. sandysue202 on December 8, 2022 at 12:58 am

I couldn’t watch the crawling in part. Major claustrophobic! If you do that again, please, please be super careful!! Yikes!

  38. Clayton County History Hound on December 8, 2022 at 1:01 am

Really enjoyed watching the adventure. I wonder if you had a recycling center close that you could find some old junk aluminum ladders and add some screen to them to make ramps for any future wayward turtles. Great job going and rescuing them. Good luck, happy hunting and take care.

  39. Scott Homler on December 8, 2022 at 1:01 am

Is this on private land ?

  40. 佐藤仁 on December 8, 2022 at 1:02 am

Thank you on behalf of all animal lovers. That turtle is very lucky!

  41. blessed specialonesmom on December 8, 2022 at 1:06 am

Wow I’d love to visit that place one day! I love mines and caves I don’t like going very far inside I am kinda chlosterphobic!! I will go maybe one hundred feet in and that is it!! we have a small coal mine maybe two football fields away from my homestead in the woods and it’s neat there is tons of items inside it!! Have you ever heard of the Cherokee Indian cave in Tennessee? That is my number two bucket list things to visit that broken bottle would make a.really cute Ash tray!! That would be something that I had thought bout checking into having someone cut down broke bottles that are bout the size of that one! And making myself some ash trays and selling them

  42. Paige Coleman on December 8, 2022 at 1:07 am

Be safe and thanks for going back to save the turtles. Cheers, Paige C.

  44. Patrick Parsons on December 8, 2022 at 1:09 am

I’m sure I’ll get some static over this comment, but you do understand that there’s no such species as a ground rattler right? That would insinuate that there were sky rattlers or tree rattlers.

  45. Laura Pruden on December 8, 2022 at 1:10 am

Maybe one day you guys can come to Canada lol I would like to go looking for bottles

  46. 73 Beetle on December 8, 2022 at 1:13 am

  47. Nash on December 8, 2022 at 1:13 am
