Original music by Brad Martin
The thing with holes is probably a tent line tensioner
Cool episode!!
I wonder if the pin-pointer would’ve worked while panning for gold?
A gold prospecting advertisement ran during the viewing of this video..YouTube is trying to same something maybe..
The wagon is from Monopoly
Caught gold fever 😷
Boy scout kerchcief "thingy" is called a Toggle, in Australia at least.
Been binge watching your videos. I watch a lot of MD videos, but i think I enjoy yours the most. Thanks for sharing your passion. Cheers from TX.
can’t believe Eddie didn’t go panning with you!
Where did you buy your metal detector sir?
I have the fever. I can start at some park at daylight, Then it’s 3:pm and I am thinking about lunch. .
I however when I find beautiful views that make me stop and take it in . I detector there also. So far nothing but beer cans and bottle tops.
the two holed piece of metal .. probably went to a BSA tent .. used to .. be able to draw tent strings taut…
The wheel barrow is a monopoly piece.
5:00 monopoly playing piece
Timeline 511, the wheel barrel is a monopoly piece and then figure 8 Hall Ln. thing is from a camping tent a string to help secure it to the Ground
The little wheel barrel is from a Monopoly game
Good stuff…great music!
The handkerchief slide is called a Bolo, I remember it well. Great video!
Hi Brad. I was in Scouts for years. We always were instructed to leave no garbage at our campsite and to clean up any trash we seen from other scouts. Our scout master, Harvey would inspect our site after tents were removed. 20 push-ups were informed for any trash found! You should never find anything on scout camps. (no trash, lol) Rjk.
Lol, there’s not much gold left in them hills. Go a little higher boys!
it is a creek NOT ariver
The 1st thing you found is called a woggle hear in England
Why didn’t you use the metal detector to find dirt to pan?
I’m trying to figure out where you are by looking at the mountains. 😆
Look under large rocks.
Placer gold deposits under large rocks in moving water.
Larger nuggets have been found under large rocks.
When I was in cub scouts in late 60s we were instructed to bury our garbage… lol
The kneckerchief thing would be called a " waggle " in the boy scouts in England . Interesting thing just for info , the U.k had boy scouts and girl guides , America had boy scouts and probably a similar one for the girls and the Soviet Union had something similar called "The pioneers " . They all wore a kneckerchief of scarf in the same was with a thing where the two ends went through
Some noob questions: Does the metal detector read those gold flakes? Can the metal detector be used in the stream? (Under water?)
Awesome
For the love of me I can’t figure out the dislikes here. What is there not to like?
There was a guy rope tensioner fron a tent (they still make them ) and a scout pack leaders woggle there are 4 or 5 different designs on the front try and find them all
Gold Fever strikes again!! 😉
Private property?
the metal piece "made in england" is used to tighten up tent lines.
Elements from stars that fall to earth save us and are required for the human body .So they died for us
I want the cameras on don’t turn away from it and talk it’s really fun watching you find that stuff I want to do it
The piece with the 2 holes in it is a tension puller it is used to put a rope through the 2 holes tie one end to the tent and the other end to the spike in the ground. To put tension on the rope.
I would not give up my day job just yet. lol
Beautiful place. Ontario can.
IVE ALWAYS WANTED TO VISIT VERMONT💗
Nice. I always carry a Boy Scout handbook. It can save your life.
In Canada and the UK we call the Scout neckerchief thing a woggle.
That place looks awesome! I’m making my way through the GMMD worm hole lol
do you ever detect in the streams you come across?
Follow that stream up till you don’t find anymore, then back up till you find it again. Your right on top of a vane.
I knew Vermont is a beautiful place but watching your videos I’ve come to realize how historic it is…Love your work!
Yup where everyone else has been looking for gold for the last 100 years is the place you should be detecting, most probably lost more than they made.
The wheelbarrow reminds me of Monopoly games pieces
Does Brad have any vid’s with him playing one of his guitars if so hit me back with one
Fyi if you want to find the most gold around a gold bearing stream, dry and burn the moss down low on the outside turns and then pan the ashes
Has to be trout in that stream…. that’s the real gold…that and the scenery.
where is the water coming from?
