WE FOUND TREASURE!
I found an ammo can hidden deep in the woods near the river. So I took something from inside and left one of my old rings. Now YOU can take the ring if you’re lucky enough to find the Geocache. If you’ve never been Geocaching, TRY IT! It’s a lot of fun.

OUR STORY SO FAR:
We are Cory & Kristen Williams and in August 2014 we made the long drive from Southern California to Alaska to move into our new home in Eagle River. Here we’ve had the chance to explore Alaska, experience lots of wild events, meet lots of great people and endure the extreme temperatures that the north is known for. On December 23rd, 2014 we got engaged after our Polar Plunge under the Northern Lights then later married by our favorite lake on May 23rd, 2015. Then on June 23rd, 2016 we had our first child. A baby girl named Chell.

The end of this vlog made me cry. Cory I pray that if hes out there I find a man as wonderful as you! You are so pure and wonderful and the love you have for your family is beyond words!!
Are you guys planning on teaching her sign language? I hear it’s easier for babies to communicate through sign language then by speaking and by learning to sign they learn to speak faster. /shrugs and that they have less temper tantrums since they now know how to relay what they want.
Looks like so much fun. I just don’t think it would work where I live lol someone would nick all the stuff or hide and mess stuff up some how! They ruin all the fun stuff lol
It’s been a really long time since we geocached, but a lesson we learned was that the gps has a 3 dimensional search setting on it. I don’t recall what the other setting was, but I’m assuming 1 dimension. When we started out geocaching, we were in flat terrain and was very successful at finding them. Later we were in a mountain setting and could never find them until we tried the 3 dimensional search setting. When we discovered this search setting difference while in the mountains, it was totally amazing the difference it made. On the one dimension setting we were 50′ off in where the gps was indicating the cache should be. When set on the 3 dimensional setting, it would take us right to the cache! When searching, look for sticks or rocks piled in ways that are natural occurrences. Happy hunting!
Oh my God! Corey! You’re just the sweetest man in the universe! Your wife is such a lucky lady!
This is so entertaining, please do more!
I love how you open your heart and share your deepest thoughts. I’m the youngest in my family, and I was the only one of the siblings who was with each of our parents at the moment they passed away (Mom was 59 and Dad was 74, and they died about ten years apart). Although, naturally, this was very sad, I also felt tremendous peace that I was there to witness them transitioning out of this life (and away from terrible illness). You will be lucky indeed if your loved ones are with you when you leave.
You need better shock absorbers for the carriage
Never know Cory, you could be like my uncle (and his son) and still mountain climbing and skiing back down at 89 🙂
You are just having to much fun being a Dad.
Good.
You can do the ‘eye connection’ with Kristen, too. It’s part of a type of couples’ therapy. Sit cross-legged, facing each other, and quietly stare into each other’s eyes. NO TALKING. No sounds at all. Do it for at least 5 minutes and longer if you want to. It is a bonding thing and you will feel like you are communicating without words like you did with Chell.
Also that last bit, It was touching man!
@DudeLikeHELLA I LOVE the editing in this video. Fantastic job!
wait, your grocery carts have CUPHOLDERS??
Was the unicorn you picked up a trackable? Double check that there is nothing on the back with little numbers and such.
Kristen is so beautiful… I can understand why you’d be mesmerized. <3
I keep thinking you folks are going to meet up with some wildlife while you are out for a walk in the woods. They must be camera shy. 😉
Chells First Geocaching Adventure! Cant wait to see more!
we are the same way. where is that darn thing, lol.
We love geocaching! Do you carry anything in case of bear?
so we’ve been doing it for years and we leave locked hearts as treasures.
I wouldn’t put the car seat on the shopping cart it can damage the lock mechanism and if you do it the other way the cart can tip over. I was one of those parents who thought" yeah what ever these parents are so delicate and uptight" until I saw it happen for myself. I just wrapped my kids and walked around in the store with them.
🙋🏼Hi Cory (Mr. Safety), I’ve been watching you a very long time now and I never thought that I would see the day that you were married and had a little girl of your own. So to see it now makes me so happy for you. Just know that the love ♥️between a father and his daughter is a big thing. She will look to you for love, protection, and guidance. No matter what happens in the future she will always be daddies little girl, and she will have a certain kind of bond with you that she will never have with her mother. Kind of like a boys special bond with his mother. So good luck, and I wish you all of the happiness there is. Take care, Dee 😊👍♥️
You Guys are such a cute and down-to-earth Family! Love watching!
That was a very touching ending.
You are very blessed.
And I just installed the Geocaching- and cant believe the amount of stuff I HAVE TO GO FIND!
Dudelikehella you need to go back to the energy drinks you were a lot more wilder and a lot more fun to watch
I love your guys porch chat time it’s amazing
You now have felt how she’s your life. You are officially in love with your child.
Family love
I love Geocaching, it’s so much fun.
💓
hey dudelikehella don’t u have to go through some hills if yes I remember a video during winter u were trying to get up and I passed it and I was like 😮 dudelikehella lives near
The eyes really are the windows to the soul. 🙂
OMG this little story about you and Chell melted my heart… not trying to be cheesy, but I think THIS was the real hidden treasure you found that day 🙂
Yeah whenever I get close to a cache the gps starts to jump back and forth.

hey Corey, FYI, Cachly is way better than geocaching.com app. just sayin
My family loves to geocache too
I hate trying to find my keys whenever I misplace them. I would so suck at geocaching.
even the best gps is only accurate within 20ft
Cory that was so touching that was amazing at the end talking about Chell I don’t think I’ve ever heard anyone say that before you are one of kind you are amazing.
As so many others have said, please do not clip the car seat to the cart! The clip is only designed to work with the base, and clipping anything else into it can damage it and cause it to fail in the car. And many opportunities for the car seat to topple over or slip off of the cart. The safest thing you can do is the hardest–put the seat in the basket. It definitely sucks for space, but it’s the only safe option besides carrying the seat yourself. Wearing her can also help with clearing up space. The Boba wrap is super great, but I know it takes a little bit of time. Try a ring sling! They are super fast, work great for newborns, and are easily adjustable to nurse in if need be. Seriously, try one!
What is your job? I mean that in a nice way, don’t get me wrong. You just never seem to be working and I don’t know if it is because you own businesses or something? Just curious, is all x
What a sweet ending to the video. ^_^ It’s nice to hear a dad’s perspective and feelings about raising a child.
Who even leaves all that stuff
You’re such a great dad. 🙂
Nice Vlog man !! Keep up it up 😛
You need pith helmets for geocacheing in the Alaskan Jungle. Not sure how to get one for the baby, though…
This was so precious! It’s amazing seeing you get more connected with Chell, Cory. There’s a comedian named Michael Junior who played a video he took of his infant daughter while she was still at the hospital. She was crying inconsolably, until he walked up and softly started telling her he loved her. The moment she heard his voice, she quieted down completely and became content. It was amazing to see the connection that was already between them, which started while she was still in the womb. Wonderful things lie ahead for you, Kristen and Chell!
The gps takes u up to about 10 20 feet away then its not accurate just put the phone up at about 15 feet
