We Had No Idea THIS Would Happen! Exploring Michigan Town Founded in 1824 for RARE Treasure!
This was truly the type of treasure hunt you can only dream about!
My buddy James and I went out on a whim to explore a river that runs through an old town in Michigan founded in 1824! We had low expectations as to keep ourselves from being disappointed, but just wait until you see what we found!

Fuse
At 3:38 the vine you point out with 5 leaves is Virginia Creeper
It’s a milk can!
Kyle I just can’t get enough of watching you explore. Your excitement over little things is just infectious. I used to live in a new construction home in an old neighborhood. The back yard was a super steep hill so the builder just left it as it was. The older kids in the neighborhood used to hang out on the plot of land, away from their parents and drink and stuff and left all of their bottles. I’m pretty sure at one point the neighborhood used the land to also just dump trash. It was fun to explore and pick up what they’d left behind years ago. My mom used to get super excited over any blue bottle. Her fave was a milk of magnesia bottle…lol.
I hope your mom is doing ok. I don’t know what your beliefs are, but I have prayed for her. She seems like the sweetest woman. She made a good kid! Thank you for what you do. Truly, it is a blessing for me. I haven’t been able to leave my home in a year due to illness and disability. So this type of content truly takes me where I want to go. The funny thing is this… My daughter will now and then come out of her room and just look at me because when you and Chris are canoeing and going over and under trees I actually find myself ducking with you. My daughter laughs at me. But I really immerse myself and am completely invested in these excursions like I’m with you guys!
thats a bar fuse…in big electric boxes.
One longer thing is a very old fuse
Probably a body ointment
The other plant you pointed at is virgina creeper has 5 leaves instead of 3 and is not poisonous! However it is like poison ivys best friend, when there’s virgina creeper there’s a 80 percent chance poison ivy is near by!
The deal you asked what is it with copper on each end and kinda white in the middle looks like an old fuse out of an old fuse box
I believe It’s a long fess.
Large fuse.
Do some town history find out where it’s very first dump was. You might have to dig some deep holes.
I will agree range fuse
Why are there a bunch of old pharmacy bottles on the side of a river??
None of that was poison Ivy fyi 😂
The thing you called a stopper is a fuse without the insides.
Awesome finds dudes!!!! I also live in Michigan and scope out old logging ghost towns and other places for forgotten treasures!
The long thing with the copper on the ends is a fuse. I think the stopper thing is also an old glass fuse with the internals out
The bottles with the broken tops…you can cut them off and still have a nice bottle it you don’t mind cutting off the damaged tops…very cool finds.
I bought a piece of property and found tons of old bottles on the property
Uh oh, James and you find some old narcotics snake oil that’s addicting? Be safe! Thanks for sharing.
The five leaf vine is "Virginia Creeper."
Always liked the old cobalt blue color it’s one of my favorite colors
The glass topper is actually a glass fuse that screwed into the main fuse box. The other one is a fuse also. Cool bottle finds!!
Really cools finds man.
It is an old breaker fuse.
Are you from Canada, eh?
Gloves Kyle! Be careful with all the poison ivy.
You should have kept that shit in that bottle and give to some pharmacist and see what was in it, they probably want to do science on it anyway’ 😁😎
That thing you called a stopper, the one you picked up right before James picked up the horse shoe is a fuse without the mettle base on it. Or also called a breaker.
What would be impressive is if you’d bother to pull along a boat and haul all that shit out of there.
I have seen people make things out of the broken glass bottle, i.e. that Owosso bottle. Cut the jagged part off and polish the rim. Make a nice decorative piece.
Halloween decor
These are so cool! Love all this history! So so cool! 😃🙌🏼💯
Very cool! My town was founded in 1722, 300 years this year.
Really cool finds! Thanks for sharing your adventures. 🙂
Your buddy turned around when you heard that wood knock, thought you were going to find different bones…
I think the ink bottle might be a glue bottle.
very nice hunt, 🦅🦅🦅🦅
Your stopper is a house fuse
Don’t you guys worry about germs that’s wen Tyfoid& Spanish flu 1800 s wow I would have a wet suite& gloves on & no more versus stirred back up be careful
The plant with five leaves is Virginia Creeper. Not poisonous
I live in a Masachusetts town where the Revolutionary war was fought. There are stone walls and house foundations all through the woods, but I’ve never located a dump. Drives me crazy because I know they’re out there.
You had no idea that. There are bones bottles and trash everywhere. Really. Now you do. Lmmfao!! I had no idea that people don’t know there’s trash in the rivers. Crazy wow. Your seeing clear now. Your woke. Great job guys👎👎👎👎
OMG!! I love ❤️ blue glass!!!
thats not a stopper, it a fuse.
I can’t believe the treasure we found! Y’all don’t forget to check out James’ Channel too! Thank you for watching. 🙏 https://youtube.com/channel/UCTV_5etNskcAeNxrPpDYrOA
I live in Durand just north of Byron
Cut the broken ones down into cups or vases! So cool to go exploring with you guys! Your reactions make me chuckle! I love it!
I want the little blue bottles!!!! 💙💙💙💙💙
