I’ve been in that area- all private property or already claimed. I was there in Oct. 2011.
You’ll be lucky finding a public place to look for Gold in Virginia. This video mentioned gold mines that are on private property. Other gold mines in VA are on local Government or Federal government land which doesn’t allow prospecting. You might want to check out joining a club or association like cvgp net
good info
Still seeing malware warnings in the site. Is there a problem on the site?

Dude get some help with the Malware issue. I’d love to get some information on the deposit near my home in PW County.
I live in Christiansburg Virginia. What could I look for around me? I’m not trying to get rich, just looking for something me and my son could do together cause we both like the idea of finding a piece of gold or arrow tips or civil war stuff. Just anything really to let us have a good time together.
Awsome video man I’m a new subscriber and I can’t figure out your website. I live in mint hill nc and there is gold in most creeks but can you tell me the best place to prospect in the area please
Question can a black person go all day without getting shot 💯❓
With Centrifugal concentrator Flexicone you can get twice more gold
I used to pan gold from the creek south of where 208 and 522 meet up. If you come from lake Anna an 208 and hit 522 make a left. Drive down the hill and pan the first creek u get to. U only found gold on the lower side of where the creek crosses under the bridge. Never even a spec on the higher side. Flower gold wasnt hard to locate there but it was to hard on my back and some place rented the mineral rights and kicked everyone off there. U can join there group and still go in but that rubbed me the wrong way when they did that. I did find a half ounce in about 8 hours panning and classifying one lucky spot in that creek but most days we found a few specs in each pan but nothing to brag about.
Thanks for that Map Overlay information! I’ve signed up on your site 🙂
I live about 1.5 hrs. from where you were on the Virginia map!
