WTNH Commercial Breaks (September 29, 1987)

Taken from Moonlighting on ABC affiliate WTNH (channel 8) in New Haven, Connecticut, serving the Hartford-New Haven television market. This was the season premiere.

New shows for ABC that fall included the ever popular Full House, Thirtysomething, Hooperman, I Married Dora, The Slap Maxwell Story, and Dolly, a variety show hosted by Dolly Parton. The show Once a Hero was also a new offering, but it only lasted three episodes.

This was when WTNH Channel 8 was at the top of its game. Their Make It 8 campaign is remembered to this day in the New Haven market, and for a time WTNH was on some cable systems in Fairfield County though it’s technically the NYC market. You would have to live in New Haven County at least to get 8 these days or have FiOS or Frontier in Fairfield County.
