Welcome back, Richest fans! When one thinks of the beach, they often imagine relaxing in the sand whilst topping up their tan. Yet buried under the mountains of sand, there could be some amazing treasure. Avid metal detector users are one of the groups that know the sand could be hiding some valuable goods. Often, the goods end up there due to shipwrecks. Today, we’re going to look at some of the best discoveries made on beaches across the globe! We even have a couple of examples that were located whilst diving in the shallow waters.

Now, for the spoiler section of the description. If you want to be surprised, we suggest you go straight to watching the video on repeat. One of our entries is about the biggest pearl ever and how pearls are made. Another entry is all about a dinosaur footprint that was exposed due to a British storm. We also have two World War Two pieces of history. A fighter airplane in Wales and a collection of love letters in New Jersey. Another find was in Australia with the oldest message in a bottle! Another story involves a treasure trove of antique coins found in Florida. We also have whale vomit. Yep. But it’s worth an absolute fortune! On top of that, we have a fun story on the Friendly Floatees rubber ducks and how they’ve helped scientists! Another story involves an Ichthyosaur fossil in Somerset. We also have a tale about a gold nugget that could lead to more lost goodies worth millions nearby. There’s also an ancient golden chalice found whilst diving!

I metal detect the beach at the 1715 close beach sites with some piece of 8 silver success over the years after hurricanes. Read area laws first. Stay out of water. On beach its yours. In water its not.

I grew up not far from Harlech where the Plane was found in the sand and regularly walked on that beach as I used to walk in the nearby Pine Forest, the beach was great for Beach combing as a lot of debris would get washed up there after storms and it was quite rare for a really low tide to uncover the plane so it was visible, I think I saw it once in the 25 years of growing up in that area, the beach at Harlech actually had a large Turtle wash up, it was dead and over 9 feet long and I an enterprising Gentleman took it upon himself to seek Salvage rights to the Turtle from the Harbour master in Porthmadog (I was friends with the same guy at the time), the man did indeed get those salvage rights and sold the Turtle to the National Museum in Cardiff for £135,000 although several stories about the Turtle don’t mention that fact, they just mention the Museum "acquiring" the Turtle and not how they got it.
Since everything of value found under the ground is usually considered Treasure and belongs to the Queen (such as Gold, Precious stones, old Jewellery etc) other things such as the Turtle can be claimed by anyone with the will and knowledge to do so.
On the beach itself, usually after a storm I found cases of beer washed overboard from ships, I found (on occasion) bottles of Brandy and Whisky and several other items of value and interest, (A case of Ship flares that I had fun with from the top of the local castle on Fireworks night was just one interesting find lol).

Hahaha, showing an ‘auction’ and than pick a video fragment from a Dutch plant and flower seller on a Dutch marketplace… I know this place, lived there… has nothing to do with an historical artifact auction…

The thing about finding gold in England is that EVERYTHING within the borders technically belongs to the crown.their government has confiscated many important funds "in the name of the queen" .so that nugget he found isn’t his, it’s the queens. This is why I love America

  46. Bill Helton on October 11, 2022 at 9:05 am
