It would mean the world to me and Lukeâs family if you could look at the disappearance of Luke Stout from Buckhannon WV in July 2012.
I know you would give Luke the moment he deserves and I really donât feel like he has ever been given since his disappearance.
I was fortunate enough to call Luke my friend. Luke was one of the kindest most compassionate people I have ever had the privilege of knowing. The police didnât even investigate his case…no search parties…no evidence collection…no interviewsâŠnothing. The police turned down multiple organizations that offered their services to help search and refused to officially have any help. They even turned down Texas EquuSearch. His family and friends held protests…called every office imaginable begging for help…including the FBIâŠconfronted city officials at city hall during a town meeting (which they were thrown out of and threatened with arrest) and have done everything in their power to try to get answers. His mother even has the prosecuting attorney recorded telling her on a phone call that what happened to Luke was his fault (because he was allegedly seeing a married woman and trying to help her out of am abusive relationship) and thatâs that. Can you imagine saying that to the mother of a missing person?

Luke deserves better than this. I hope you see this and consider looking into it. It would mean the world to his family. At this point they feel like everyone either doesnât care or forgot all about Lukes disappearance.

Iâm crying as type this up for a YouTube comment again. Lukeâs Mother passed away before her only wish of finding her Sons body and giving him a proper burial could be fufilled. He still has many surviving family members including 2 Brothers he was extremely close with. Not to mention countless friends who are still grieving and angry at this miscarriage of justice
If you chose not to cover his case I want you to know I understand. I know you have hundreds if not thousands of cases suggested to you that you havenât covered yet. Other creators have refused to cover it because of the controversy that first surrounded his case but I know you donât back down so easily. Ive had some strange experiences in WV one of them was in Grafton WV. Was staying at the small motel in the area by the lake in the off season. Quite lake and was down by it with my dog. My dog didnt want to walk in one direction along the lake at night. So we just sat for awhile he wouldnt settle. I heard a massive crash pretty sure it was a tree falling on a completely silent night. Here large breaking in the area quite a bit.

that bird thingy..snallygaster..lol..anyhow..there are HUGE BLACK BIRD OF 3-6 ft tall on the ohio river around the racine locks and dam..ive seen them with my own eyes..they were very dark and gloomy looking..or i guess i felt that way because of their size…it was a very freaky event as i was goin by on a pontoon boat and we saw them very clearly….HUGE BIRDS!!!

OK, first of all Mothman was covered in a previous WV video!! SECOND, "urban" legend is a city legend!!! Urban=city. These would be rural legends!! Sheesh, keeping the interwebs on the straight and narrow is a thankless job!!!

Well, say what you will, West Virginians come up with weird names for their weird creatures. I donât discount any story, but Iâve never experienced such of a thing; nor known anybody personally who did. I wonder if any of these creatures ever run into each other. Only two more comments: Iâm sure itâs difficult enough being one of a kind without people exaggerating. Whoever added tentacles to that one should be ashamed. My other is a question about the shadow creature: if it lacks all physical form and bullets pass through it, how does it consume anything? Also in the story it is described as super fast, so how did the doofus who shot at it get away when he ran? My advice: Be consistent with your myths and stories. Oh, wait, according to ghost lore ghosts remain around to achieve some goal. In the case of the Greenbriar Ghost she achieved her goal. Her death was attributed to murder and the murderer confessed and was tried. She wouldnât keep wafting around. She has no purpose.

Turkey foot Holler in W.V. 1974 I was 9 years old,my brother is 15 months older,my uncle who was the same age as
brother and two cousins went for a walk up a dirt road out by my Grandmothers house. That day the five of us were just exploring an unchartered area.
It was a sloppy,muddy road that day because it rained earlier in the day. It wasn’t cold ,we were dressed in short sleeves. We came upon a big abandoned white house, Windows were missing and the door opened. We all walked up to the house but my brother ran in before the rest of us.
As I walked in I seen my brother in the library in front of the fireplace kicking books around .
The rest of us slowly,and cautiously walked into the threshold and I suddenly seen the place as new. I said "Wow"! This place is nice" and looked toward the fireplace as I was about to say "This place is nicer than our house ,when I seen two huge pink eyes go down the wall with a pink squiggly,streamer type thing attached . One eye on each side of the fireplace. I wasn’t the only one who seen the eyes. All four of us said at the same time word for word: DID YOU SEE THAT!?
YEAH! PINK EYES RAN DOWN THE WALL!
YEAH! Then the four us all turned and ran.
My brother was in the house in front of the fireplace with his down kicking around old books on the floor so he didn’t see them.
My uncle and cousins were running and wouldn’t stop but I had to stop and yell for my brother to come out.I was standing a good distance from the house and kept screaming at him ,Ray! PINK EYES RAN DOWN THE wall,Ray! PINK EYES RAN DOWN THE WALL! I was getting angry because he was ignoring me. He finally came out onto the porch and I seen sight of him I tuned around and started to run them heard him talking to somebody.
I stopped running ,and turned to see who he was talking to,we were in the middle of nowhere!
I turn to see him talking to two little girls who were dressed just like the sisters on the movie "Shining"! They had ruffled dresses,banana curls,bows in their hair black patten leather shoes with white ruffled socks,One had on blue dress the other a pink.
I heard them say "You won’t play with us,you’re snobs".
I remember looking down at my dirty shirt and thinking ,I’m not a snob. Then I thought their not real! My brother told them he would play with them come down here. I started yelling at my brother saying ,They’re not real,Ray! PINK EYES RAN DOWN THE wall.,Ray! Ray,They’re not real! I shut up for a second to here what was being said. When my brother said he would play with them but they have to come down to my Grandmas ,the girls said "We’re not allowed to". Ray asked "Why not ? Why can’t you come play with us?
A man with stick came out of the woods and chased my brother Ray. The man floated fast and grabbed Rays sleeve before disappearing.
I told Ray as we ran all the way back to Grandmas they weren’t real,Ray! He almost caught you,Ray. They weren’t real! I seen pink eyes go down the wall,Ray. Ray, Said he thought we were messing around when we all said we seen pink eyes run down the wall,but it finally hit him there was no way we could’ve planned saying the same thing word for word.We walked up to the porch together.
Ray said we all said the exact same thing except some said pink eyes ran down the wall and somebody else said pink eyes bounced down the wall. I know one thing for sure,

As a young lad with serious behavior problems in the 1970s, I was often sent to Pocahontas County, WV for the summer to live with family friends way out in the boonies. Being 12yo or so I managed to make a number of great friends in the small town of Dunmore. These native boys & I hit it off great and we would run WILD just like the state motto, and it was so WONDERFUL. We hiked on National Forest trails from Peters Mountain to Cass (Scenic R&R), road our bikes from Frost to Marlinton and Green Bank. We swam and fished in Sitlington Creek, the Green Briar River, and slept out under the stars in fields and were awoken occasionally by the moos of near by cattle or the distant gun shot of a night poacher or snipe-hunter. I have many fond memories of West-By-God-Virginia, but I have no weird or odd stories to tell of the supernatural. However, by todays standards, my youthful, freedom packed, summer adventures in WV might be considered very ‘supernatural’ because we stayed outside all day and most of the night. I think the locals might have thought we were the cryptids or sasquatches because of our obnoxious and loud night escapades. No social media, no video games then, damn what a great childhood! Yee Haha WV.

I have seen a shadow man in broad daylight for several minutes we stared at each other w me rubbing my eyes off n on in disbelief. It finally casually turned and went in the house. It was on a balcony casually proped w elbows on banaster of balcony slightly bent over. It was not trying to be scary. It was sunny bright summer day so I wasn’t afraid at the time. I wish someone would tell me more about them. Or if they have seen them.
