I just have to say I love the outdoors and thank you for sharing these stories. I watch your videos when I’m getting ready for work and when I get off work . I’ve learned a lot more than I do now.
Okay, so it’s a great story, but how did she get lost, where did she go off course in her jump, how far from the actual landing zone was she, did she make the jump alone or were there others from the team that made the jump in a group, etc. There were obviously some major errors made in this jump or facts that you failed to relate that need to be addressed. You were so infatuated with the woman’s looks and kindness that you forgot all the details that would have made some sense of the story.
Still haven’t came back to admit that this was a fake story, with pictures of other real women used without their consent, and it was just a way to boost your own ego and/or get a little TnA on your channel huh?

Hope she gets better of packing up her life lines so they don’t get damaged. And have the ability to start fires, and boil water. Can’t believe she doesn’t have a emergency beaken. Everyone in the wilderness needs this. One’s life could depend on it. Thanks for this story
I was thinking why not add a superpay button,or superthanks whatever it’s called. Some may prefer this option to PayPal as it’s so quick and easy. Maybe you can’t, don’t know the rules. I do have some personal understanding of chronic illness, but everything I know of Lyme’s tells me it can be life -destroying, often with no apparent end in sight. I so hope you eventually fully recover, always seems to be the good guys and girls that get these horrible things. Take it easy buddy.

Off topic sorta. God Bless the Arizona smokejumper and HotShot crews, and the ( 17 crew) lost some years ago. I barely survived Tubbs firestorm. They are loud, noisy, train like decibels, with flames. 😔

For years I’ve wished for eyes like yours, but I do have hazel which tend to change color so I’m told. I love your videos, you care about the people you talk about. I was a cook on a fire line, Nez Pierce fire back in 2003-2004… Jumpers were on that fire. They are a special breed.
I’m glad she was able to keep a cool head, but if there was no smoke I should think she could have triangulated location & direction to walk using the stars… 😮

Did she not see where the other smoke jumpers were landing, did she not guide her chute, and it would seem that she would have seen the general direction to go once on the ground by seeing the general direction to go back to. It seems a bit odd that these smoke jumpers would also get some navigation instructions too.

‘Continental United States’ includes Alaska and, while I do not know for sure, I am assuming that Alaska has FAR more grizzly bears than Montana. If it is just the ‘lower 48’ being named, then that is the ‘contiguous United States’. And, I would take the bet, that is true.
