You climbing that Hill to see what was at the top reminded me of a song my Dad and I use to sing when we were travelling on holidays. Dad died January 14th 2021, aged 88yrs. We would sing " oh the bears went over the mountain, the bears went over the mountain the bears went over the mountain to see what we could see, and all that we could see, and all that we could see was the…….. other side of the mountain the other side of the mountain the other side of the mountain was all that we could see". My Dad always called me baby bear and he was Dadda bear, big bear or pappa bear. ๐

Lesson #1: when climbing a steep embankment (especially with leaves), go at an angle like cows, horses, mules, goats, deer, most 4 legged critters, do. Do some zig-zagging and a whole bunch of sprig grabbing. ๏ผ๏ผ๏ผพ๏ผ๏ผพ๏ผ๏ผ

Maybe you should carry a pair of binoculars in your pickup. That might help you determine if it’s a cave or not.
