when stratifying its better to go side to side and not spin it around. its cool that you 2 get to travel around and do something you enjoy for a living. I live in the north Midwest and unfortunately not much possibility of good gold prospecting mostly just farm land. hopefully you find something if you ever make it to my state.

I never would have suspected alluvial gold in Rhode Island! Where I live & pan here in Colorado is an alluvial valley so this terrain seems to be what I expect. Great video you guys!

Nugget Lake in Wisconsin is a good place to find placer gold. Great camping. You can pan all the rivers that flow into the lake.

  15. Ken Whalen on October 5, 2022 at 8:13 am

I have a seasonal camp site at Ginny b and if I take the cover off of my toilet I can see more gold then what you found panning.

I learnt something today. Rhode Island. Always thought it was an inner suburb of NY! It is a really beautiful place. Aries, if you don’t stick with your Dads channel, start your own after you’ve learnt as much as you can from him. He has 53k subbies, a huge amount who’ll watch you too. Why? They’ll watch you cause you ain’t scared to get in there and do it plus get your hands dirty. Oh, being much prettier than your Dad helps too lol. Just a thought Shane, maybe you should have searched where that stream ran before it was redirected, maybe that’s where the gold was. Anyway guys, great vid, beautiful surroundings, tho a bit more gold would’ve been nice 🙂

  24. Lee Duncan on October 5, 2022 at 8:18 am

If you come to Galveston or Houston area, let me know when you are coming.I would love to meet you in person. Galveston is full of old mansions and houses. Plus Jean Lafayette was a famous pirate that stole a lot of gold from the Spanish ships. He used to stash some in different places along the gulf coast. I might even buy you lunch.

  27. GDaddyD on October 5, 2022 at 8:20 am

Panning for gold in Wisconsin can be a risky proposition,as the DNR here are anal and will take everything you own if they catch you recreational panning in one of their streams(by their god given right,is all of them). The natural resources here in Wisconsin are for the Corporations,.not for the people.
