I think they didn’t take it back to France I think they broke them up and scatter them around

  2. Jeremy Bertram on September 29, 2022 at 8:41 am

    Isn’t oak island near there?

  3. Esteban Morales on September 29, 2022 at 8:41 am

The navigation technology of the time would not have allowed Kidd to determine precise coordinates. At best it would have put someone within maybe half a mile of the location.

It’s the name Aster or Askey? Because I knew and Askey and they were in real estate and we’re from their fathers and grandfathers clear back in a timeframe. And quite wealthy.

  7. Nicholas Salchert on September 29, 2022 at 8:48 am

I’ve seen casual diver channels on YouTube find more treasure than Scott lol

  8. Hannibal Chow on September 29, 2022 at 8:49 am

Fun fact: pirates were not known to bury treasure. As they knew the pirate life was not a very long life. So they weren’t into saving money, they were more apt to spend it rather quickly on booze and women. As well as personal food provisions, better weapons or family. Not bury it…they were paid in shares that were skimpy so they spent it ASAP

America Unearthed is the best show!!!

  10. TWSTF 8 on September 29, 2022 at 8:51 am

Oh, how _convenient!_ 😂 Apparently, Captain Kidd’s treasure was really with us all along lol it was the friends we made along the way!

That’s got to be the most obtuse way they’ve circumvented the inevitable lack of any satisfactory conclusion, in these episodes that I’ve seen. Usually, we’re just left with an obligatory; "the search goes on!" to hold us over, when they ultimately end up no further than where they started.

But, I gotta hand it to ’em lol this whole; "as far as I’m concerned, Captain Kidd’s treasure is right here!" is a new one!

(You’ll have to excuse me, if I’m not terribly impressed. It’s beginning to look like quite the pattern, this series. All hype and no results.)

And definitely one of the last episodes I waste any more of my time watching, without question. 👎

  17. Carl B on September 29, 2022 at 8:58 am

Replace the word ‘sometimes’ with ‘mostly’ and it is a lot closer to the truth.

It must be very frustrating to look for all these things you look for and never find them. It’s frustrating for me to watch for sure. I keep hoping you’ll find something. I won’t hold my breath though.

There’s an explosive family secret alright. It was not Kidd’s Treasure that filled Astor’s early bank accounts. Astor was an International Importer – the Real Estate was secondary. That Summer House was paid for with money he made importing Tea and Silk from China. Tea and Silk and tons of Opium.

As someone who lives in Maine I know a fair amount of state history, including the history that pre-dates statehood in 1820.
Maine was once part of Massachusetts.
The Astor family had a huge mansion in Bar Harbor. The Rockefeller family did as well as the DuPont, Vanderbilt, Ford, Morgan, Livingston, and many other ultra wealthy families of the early days.
There is treasure buried somewhere in that part of the state.

Isadore- Exclsuive agreements. Pammela has not offically accepted her position. But God has started a wait list for her, in the event that she does. God was not able to give her a firm offer as we were not sure what was going to happen here on earth. We moved her chair to the 16th chappel- she taught course before but did no actual chair existed.

  34. Kyle Russell on September 29, 2022 at 9:24 am

That whole first conversation with the note was so scripted. Just make it natural so we don’t cringe. Obv everyone knew it was coordinates and so did the guy.

  37. Jerald Spannagel on September 29, 2022 at 9:25 am

I read a Captain Kidd adventure story that said he buried his treasure in Louisiana. Under a large stone. At the dividing line between the Seminole and other Indian Tribe Lands. He hunted that area and was friends with the Indians. Not sure the other Tribes name.

  38. PuppyMax on September 29, 2022 at 9:25 am

It’s all sooo directed and scripted, nothing spontaneous about it.
