For the most complete account of the Lost Sublett Mine, see my book "Castle Gap and the Pecos Frontier, Revisited," published in 2017 by Texas Christian University Press. In this book, I remove Sublett from the realm of folklore and place him firmly in documented history. The book is available from online sellers.
