BLACK HISTORY MONTH The National Theater Wilmington Delaware

Here once stood a long-running African American movie theater that served the black community in Wilmington and provided meeting spaces and ballroom spaces for use by African American clubs and associations in the early to mid 1900’s. It was also primarily run by the second African American to ever be elected to Wilmington City Council.
