San Nicholas is Actually my Favorite Of Channel Islands Of Them all because Iβd grown up with The Book π¬Island Of The Blue Dolphinsπ¬ about The Tale Of Karana Bassd On The Lone Woman Of San Nicholas Whom was left to live by Herself alone for 18 years from 1835 to 1853 !!!!!!!

I grew up in Huntington Beach…I think for most Southern Californians, they don’t have any idea there are islands out there past Catalina…and most Southern Californians have never even been to Catalina…I’d love to take my boat to San Nicolas…or San Clemente…
catalina can be amazing. walk from avolon to sharks cove on the other side of the island, buffalo, peccaries, abalone at low tide once you get there.
Amazing. What California used to look like
Seniro trips for ventura unfinied scholl districts would take seniors who wanted to go. On overnith camping trips to anacaoa evry year for the gradytaing clases. For us kids in overty, ir was a dope treat to get to ride on the charter and be treated to sicj beauty.
I grew up near Ventura. Spent a lot of time charter boat fishing near Anacapa and Santa Cruz islands.
Nice

Fantastic! I LOVE those islands. They represent what California was BEFORE white man. Snorkeling in the giant kelp forests while the plankton is breeding and feeding the colorful fishes and the seals and star fishes and on and on…is an INCREDIBLE experience! They must be protected and respected. A best kept secret (shoosh don’t tell too many people) but plz do send money donations to help protect and preserve this sacred place. Thank you for a great film!
island of the blue dolphins, one of the first books i read.
