Dominoes is definitely a game bought over to England by the Romans and over the years it has become a pub favourite along with darts but not at the same time! These days you don’t see it being played in the modern pubs but normally in old pubs and working mens clubs.

I spent many hours playing dominos with my grandma. I guess you just aren’t old enough. There’s one game called Mexican Train that a lot of RVer’s play in the campgrounds but we just played a standard game.

Finally walked a city creek last weekend and was pleasantly surprised to see very little trash. Which means I didn’t find anything. 😆

There are a lot of them black squirrels on Noccalula Mountain
I only knew of 2 places that have black squirrels. Mountain view CA, and somewhere in colorado. Crazy that you saw one in alabama. Black squirrels from what I remember are a different subspecies. They tend to be more skittish and not nearly as territorial as red squirrels. That’s one of the reasons why they haven’t really expanded beyond a couple of places in the United States. I wonder if somebody took a meeting pair from Colorado to where you are.

Funny story about black squirrels in the state of Michigan from which I’m currently in and from what I’ve read in history we have old man Kellogg to thank for that.. true story look it up. It is truly hilarious… I don’t want to ruin it… Anyways looks like fun stay safe ✌️
A couple of times I have come across cottages that have semi hidden sewage pipes coming out of the banks directly into one of my favorite trout streams. I looked around for an appropriately sized chunk of wood and a good sized rock and pounded the the wood very tightly and deeply [1′-2′] and ‘nice and neighborly’ back their waste up for them. One such place I’ve repeated several times over the years. I know the way I’ve jammed it in there so I know it takes some serious work and time to clear the pipe. Don’t mess with my brook trout fishin’ .. lol
Saw a black squirrel down here in Coffee county standing in the middle of the road. Thought it was a crow. Looked it up. Apparently, they’re not that uncommon. First one I’d ever seen.
