Connecticut's Cultural Treasures // New Britain Museum of American Art

It was the first institution in the country to start collecting American Art. Today, the New Britain Museum of American Art has over 11,000 works in its collection. From John Trumbull’s colonial portraiture, to today’s NEW/NOW Artists, the museum is a must-see in New Britain.

Connecticut’s Cultural Treasures is a new series of 50 five-minute vignettes that profiles a variety of the state’s most notable cultural resources.
