I have met the Turin’s, I used to live in Brightwood Oregon where their quarry is. They are good people, a few of my friends have worked for them and never heard anything bad about them. It is nice to see them doing well.

Had I not moved out of Twin Lakes 2 years ago, would have fought this project from the onset since much of my family’s legacy is rooted around that very area. These guys are a disaster to the areas that they go in. One of their crewmen said all there is to know. "All we’re trying to do is get the damn gold and get out". They operate with the same reckless abandoned that the Hoffman’s did near Fairplay and not a damn bit of reclamation will be done. So sad that Lake County caved to a tv show over what is best for the community affected.

Most of the viewers have never mined before, nor do they understand Bonds and Reclamation Requirements. The TV Show is not accurate and makes us real life miners look stupid. Most miners are indeed responsible, it is just the few idiots that ruin it for everyone else
