I also live in the American Southwest, and I too, have seen @ least one portal. It was about 7am, lasted about 2 or 3min.
Sedona is a very beautiful place. I am not surprised people report so many strange incidents there because it does have a feeling I can’t describe. You have to experience it to understand. I have been there several times and each time I’ve wanted to just stay there. I always come home feeling so much better than before.

I read some articles that buddist statues were found in caves in the grand Canyon. Probably has portals there as well.
Been to many Sedona many many times, once when I was younger our dog kept barking at this stone arch, not too similar to this but it kept me thinking why bark and growl so much at this arch.
Interesting. I’ve read about a few of these "portals" in the lore of Indigenous peoples from the Americas. That I’ve noticed STONE seems to be a repeated factor in most all of them. Perhaps it’s that stone was the only real structural material with permanence that they knew or maybe it’s the solid vs emptiness duality that is the reason for it. What do you think?
Sedona is also home to a unique species of yuppies. They r like hippies but way douchier because they like trustafarians have vast amounts of wealth that they hadnt personally earned themselves.

i wonder if in these places the magnetic field may be stronger or some other electric feild going on making people hallucinate. it has been scientifically proven that places with wierd wiering or magnetic field can couse hallucinations. of course that dosent explain the wierd disappearances but it could at leasr explain mabu some of the wierd stuff thats happened. ive noticed when in plaves with faulty wiring ive had more paranormal experiences then places without.

I’m very familiar with this story, John wrote a book that included this story. It wasn’t in Sedona, it was near Arivaca , AZ, in southern Arizona. There are roads, canyons, and springs with names like Portal canyon, and Diablo Springs. Creepy place. Great story though.

The arch is in Arivaca, Az area. It was a medicine man who put the rabbit through the arch way. If I am not mistaken the arch that was seen by the Quin’s in the 1950’s fell and a new one "mysteriously" appeared nearby. The story about the galloping horse rider did not take place in Sedona nor was it near the arch area

Hi PJ… This story about the portal has nothing to do with Sedona or that area. The portal, when it was still standing, was located in far southern Arizona. We have been there and filmed a documentary about this. We also interviewed Mr. Ron Quinn before his death. I was in a Bigfoot group in Oregon, we fed the Bigfoots for years in several research areas. One night my friend says she would like to see one, so we head up to the closest research area we had. Too much detail to go into, but as she was ready to leave the research area a Bigfoot jumped off the hill side into the road and disappeared into a blacker than night oval spot that opened up in the middle of the road, as soon as it went into it, it disappeared along with the Bigfoot.
I don’t know about it being home to warp tunnels, but I do know it’s home to some serious Nut Jobs.

This story did not happen in Sedona. It was in a small town north of Nogales called Tumacacori
Portals do exist. When I was a young man, my father lived in a remote area in NC. The area went through a "flap" of UFO sightings for about 2 years and many people saw them in the area. The area also has allot of Indian mound sites. There is one spot along this road where the woods are just creepy. Everyone who goes into these woods feels a sense of foreboding. We’ve even seen large black cats and Bigfoot activity there. There is a creek that a friend and I fished frequently about a mile from his old house and one afternoon we grabbed our poles and walked down to it. It was a clear, sunny day, no clouds the sky was blue and warm but about half way we both felt the presence of electricity in the air and static on our arms. Then we heard a crisp clap, not exactly thunder but similar. A small cloud formed suddenly and out of it came a WW2 Japanese fighter plane with the traditional round red dot on it. Following right behind it was a larger American plane from the time period but it had engines on the wings on each side and a gun "port" on its nose. The American plane was firing upon the Japanese plane and you could hear it as well as the hum of the engines. The two places banked slightly and went across the road suddenly there was another "cloud" into which both went into and were gone. As soon as they did, the clouds were gone as well. My friend looked at me and said, "what in the heck did we just see?" He described the same thing I did. The feel of static left and we went back and told my dad, who was in his house and heard nothing and obviously had a hard time believing it. Other weird things happened in that area as well. Several months later, the farmer who owned the field near the creek was plowing and hit a rock. He got out to inspect it and upon digging around it discovered that it was actually the top of a large pyramid shaped stone that as he dug deeper, it widened out of four sides. When he reached a depth of 12′ and still hadn’t found the bottom of it, he filled the hole back in and ignored it. He was an old hard nosed farmer who only cared about his cows and his farm and didn’t want it out that he found this. Some years earlier, he found an Indian mound on a nearby piece of property and the state came and studied it and camped on his land for weeks, left holes and he had folks wanting to look on the property. He was so aggravated by it all that he swore to never tell a soul about all the weird goings on and artifacts that he uncovered from then on. He passed away in the early 2000’s and today the site has grown up in pine and the land sold.
What a weird but fascinating story….I think I would go in….and have drones and cameras on me…for evidence.

My friend and I climbed up Cathedral Rock in Sedona. My friend walked out on a wide ledge for a view. I yelled, "Happy Birthday Bo". Others started randomly yelling happy birthday from all over the area where we were. Then, a group of children started singing the happy birthday song, but not exactly the same as I know it. I told Bo that the vortex was wishing him a happy birthday.
