Since Hearst built his newspaper empire by printing fake stories (such as nude amazon women tribes populating Cuba) to bolster newspaper sales, claiming no one profited from the fake tales of an underground city is wrong. Hearst who owned most of America’s newspapers did. In any case old Smithsonian records are in the National Archives. If Kincaid had worked for them, then those records would show him on the staff, or as a contractor. Likewise since the Smithsonian, even back then knew how a Sextant worked, the latitude and longitude of the ‘discovery’ would be recorded in multiple records. So too would be records about the second team, i.e., lists of names, HR records about each, appropriation monies used, expedition funding, supplies purchased, train ticket vouchers, per diem forms, hotel vouchers for the trip, etc. The Govt been keeping track of such things since before the Civil War. Way too much data to be purged even if it had been real and someone wanted to hide the recoords. There is just too much paperwork to find it all.
Did G.E. Kincaid exist? What did he publish or do after 1909? All the visuals show here are inauthentic. All we have is one newspaper article in 1909. What was the water supply for the people there? What was the food supply? What was the waste disposal system? What was the air supply?
