Part 2: (Conclusion) https://youtu.be/JIGW-7AJ4z8
I am an avid metal detectorist who loves to pan for gold. I own a gold pan, a blue bowl for fine gold recovery and a sluice. My son Daniel and my daughter Gabby help me find gold in the Adirondacks by Lake Placid.

I have gone to all five boroughs of New York City To Metal Detect and beyond. I also currently own 16 metal detectors. I want to have the best and I want to help you choose the best as well. I am a treasure hunter. So in addition to metal detecting, I go mudlarking at sites such as Dead Horse Bay. Think of mudlarking as metal detecting without a metal detector.

My most important series is called Becoming A Millionaire Metal Detecting. I am trying to monetize my favorite hobby in order to do it more in the future. In other words, we put the clad we find in the ground, affiliate earnings, and merchandise earnings in to the stock market and we invest it. This show started in January 2019.

Works better if you use the classifier right in the water with a pan catch below it takes a little finesse!

Waiting on part 2. Just watched this again. Daniel and Gabby are future You Tubers. 🙂 What a wonderful way to spend time with your family. I love these adventures. Lots of garnets, quartz and flour gold where I live. You’ll have to come to NH for a vacation with the family. Swift River is the big gold panning river but there are others 🙂

  25. @leclairro1 on January 6, 2024 at 9:26 am

Very surprised you didn’t do well at your first location with the metal detector, when I was a kid, that was the most popular swimming beaches in town. I would think there would be a lot of lost coins and rings there.

  26. @TheDetectingZone on January 6, 2024 at 9:27 am

    Can’t wait for part 2
You left us hanging with that cliffhanger

  28. @coreymerrill3257 on January 6, 2024 at 9:31 am

The sands up here is insanly heavy . we do have pgms despite what every official geologic survey says about the area . I am learning all the time. This area needs a long tom or equivalent. And a washing plant a highbanker wouldnt hurt either…or like a 4 stage gold cube with the tromel attachment.that would be awesome!. Adjustable legs are a must for sluices here too. I live in northeastern ny and have been practicing for when I get to the gold bearing districts…official gold bearing districts i should say. Lol. I have been finding a some rusty , decomposing quartz chunks from what looks lile a quartz vein. I need to locate it. It looks very promising . crevacing is also recommended. Mind the fish hooks though!

Pyrite or fools gold contains traces of gold wich it means you were close to the gold

  47. @chaielmaetheius7804 on January 6, 2024 at 9:55 am

Never use a magnet when black sand is wet, it will grab any gold that may be in it

  48. @RickNeedham on January 6, 2024 at 9:56 am

Did you try anywhere else near Lake Placid or along your way there? Or just this one location only…
