How do you clean stains off of bottles if vinegar does not work?

WHY TAKE ON NEW CHANNELS RATHER THAN BROADEN THIS CHANNEL???

  17. Bluegrassterrapin on September 28, 2022 at 8:24 am

I just found your channel and enjoyed your river hunting adventure so much I subscribed.
As a native New Englander now living in Western N.C. i don’t find many older bottles, artifacts or old coins like i did in rural N.Western R.I. where I grew up and then living in VT. for 25 years before moving south in 2014.
Lots of history to be found in the ground up there if you know where to look and I always try to find at least one or two days to explore when I go up to visit family on vacations.
I do hope you get up there to vacation and treasure/bottle hunt.
Great video and I look forward to watching more of your posts here.

Hello! If you really want to find gems, you could travel to North Carolina or Montana for Sapphires. Or Arkansas for diamonds. _

The house I grew up in , was the oldest house left in our town of East Alton. After I moved out , my parents sold the house to my oldest sister. Right around 1985 , a sink hole started to cave in. My sister tried to fill it in. It kept sinking. So my family got together and started to dig it back out. They started pulling out bottles .lots of bottles. 76 all in tact. Some still had corks in them , with some sort of liquid in them. They came to the conclusion that it was a well . I still can’t believe that my sister wanted to move back into that house. It was haunted , very bad. When my sister sold it finally , that family really made the spirit mad , and they sold it real quick.

  32. BEN HARTMAN on September 28, 2022 at 8:46 am

Never heard you mention having to watch out for gators? Isn’t that something you have to consider down in Alabama ?

  33. Dave R on September 28, 2022 at 8:47 am

Love the videos, was curious about who you get to cut your bottles I have a couple of local embossed sodas that I would like to be made into drinking glasses

  34. Occam's Razor on September 28, 2022 at 8:47 am

I like finding old bottles over golf balls.

  35. insight bytes2 on September 28, 2022 at 8:48 am

I highly recommend going to Arkansas to dig for crystals! There is nothing like pulling something out of a pocket that has never been unearthed. Also the crater of diamonds. They constantly still moving up with freeze/thaw.

  36. Thomas Surette on September 28, 2022 at 8:48 am

Come to maine we have gold and old bottles

  37. Gerald Wilson on September 28, 2022 at 8:48 am

  38. Kite’s Curiosities on September 28, 2022 at 8:49 am

That is CRAZY how that bottle cracked all up just by pulling it out and it experiencing a temperature change. I have never had that happen before. You taught me something today.

  39. Voklst Westie on September 28, 2022 at 8:50 am

I know you’re collecting visual gold of bottles & other things but Wheres your metal detector, that erosion pile looked like a good spot to find Gold to me!

  40. Finding Alabama on September 28, 2022 at 8:51 am

    Great information in this one!!!

  41. Dave Parnell on September 28, 2022 at 8:54 am

If you go back and watch where you pull that bottle out of the bank you can see that it was already cracked .I was surprised 5hat you didn’t notice it when you pulled it so much so that I commented to myself that you were going to be disappointed when you cleaned it…

  42. Sean G on September 28, 2022 at 8:56 am

Jadeite was an old butter dish

  43. J.C. Linden on September 28, 2022 at 8:57 am

Look just before the 2 minute mark and after. As you were talking about a small mark, the sun light was showing other cracks in that bottle.

  44. levi&jace payne on September 28, 2022 at 8:57 am

Jawbone seems more like a sheep…too big for a deer…! I was attacked by a Beaver in Pennsylvania 20 years ago while kayaking on the Youghiogheny River….they can be nasty…!

  48. William Bailey on September 28, 2022 at 8:59 am

Are there really that many old bottles buried along creek walls. PS: My buddy and I were confronted by a very angry and very large beaver while fishing a group of ponds in Southern California. He swam up to us and slapped the water with his tail, making a very noisy and scary cannonball sound. We moved on down the bank very quickly… No harm, no foul…😁

  49. D Rhodes on September 28, 2022 at 9:02 am
