Great message. There are many ways “meditate” and rock love is the best. The “free” part removes any stress….the value is in the eyes of the rock holder.😀

    "…it’s free." Priceless!

Hey there BJ! Nice video. I’m not much of a Agate Hunter but I do like collecting seashells when I’m near a river or a beach. I guess that’s kind of the same.

Nice finds today! Lots of water bands on the agates, so pretty. That just fascinates me to look at them. Thanks for sharing and for getting us out of our heads for a while!

YouTube is really stupid sometimes, I have the notifications turned on and I never got one for this video.

Have you found any of these with the host rock still attached at all?

Brother you need to cut into the videos more, you speak the truth with that advice.

    Good stuff man!

I live in Baywood LA, I’ve been finding agates in my driveway for years, soon we will be getting new loads of gravel for the driveway, I can’t wait! If I’m ever at anyone’s home and they have gravel, the hunt is on! Agates are amazing, that’s what started my love becoming a rockhound!

When I am at the river I just sit down and take a break and it never fails right where i plop myself down I find an agate or some petrified wood. Even relaxing I can find stones. I am humbled that I live in such an amazing place. We all need a stress reliever. We sure ours. Take it cool!

Enjoy your videos. Can you give GPS coordinates so that us watchers can find one or two agates?

The Nova Scotia provincial gemstone is also agate!! Awesome agates as usual! 17 years ago I got to see one of my favourite bands play in Baton Rouge, Better Than Ezra. I was living in Longview, TX at the time. I miss those days.

I`ve found a lot of ocean fossils like "Indian Beads" and agates in the creek gravels in some areas of LaSalle Parish.

Hell yeah! I gotcha. For me hounding started 4 yrs ago…. I get in such a peaceful zone thinking but not thinking. It’s like the rocks pull me! So much history in them. I find some really interesting pieces. But I’m pretty sure not everyone who tries it gets it like we do… My husband rather look around with the binocs while I hound. But he gets bored quick… I mostly go alone and that’s cool cause I get in the zone, get grounded, appreciate , respect and love the earthly realm… Peace ✌️ brother

I am right there with you, brother. The only reason I don’t spend all day playing with rocks is ’cause of the chickens. And, the firewood. And, oh yeah, taxes, home repairs, deer fencing and watching #thefinders YouTube videos. But, I try.

Your agates have the most amazing shapes! Thank you for the great still shots that often have the light shining through. I took my 30 year old son on his first rockhounding adventure and he said, "you mean I can find treasure and it’s all free?" That’s a great thing about it. It’s free and it’s freeing for the soul. Thanks for this valuable reminder. 💕
