I also just found an unregistered gold mine in the bush near my house in coromandel New Zealand. We have giant wetas in ours haha. Only at the entrance though. Massive quartz veins all the way down the roof, I brought some samples home to process yesterday, but spent the day metal detecting instead.

Hey Dan you ever need an extra set of hands on the weekend when I’m not workingbas engineer and machine maintenance technician….I’d love to learn more knowledge from guys that know what there doing…..you all remind me of my grandfather William Lee Nolan…he was my best friends and nicest guy ever and hardest worker I’ve ever known…he used to own a crap load of claims and gold mines up to liberty wa… and up north passed Chelan…. I’m from George wa.. grew up on my grandfather’s alfalfa farm.. but after his passing the farms and property’s were sold… and I’ve been saving for years to hopefully own my own or part of one some day…I’m willing todo the work and pay my own expenses…. to be able to pick your brain a little for knowledge I never got from my grandfather… I’d work for free and lend a hand if you all were ever interested and could use and extra hand …shoveler or pack muck back down the mnt…
Gotta love discovering things like this when I was a kid in the NWT we found many such mines was always exciting and fun still have some samples or quartz and pyrite I broke off the walls

Take a sample Dan, assay it buddy. We’re all curious about that color at the back of the shaft. No bears back there but plenty of bat guano. Wear a filter mask.
