Guys, it’s a hoax, there is no treasure, the guys wants to create a legend, so people will remember him after he’s gone, he also made a lot of money by writing s book and all the publicity he got brought fame based on a lie, don’t fall for it ! he is playing with you…

  2. @seeker61z81 on December 31, 2023 at 8:41 am

Family life and unity is the treasure… Enjoy it in life cuz there is no opportunity in death.

  3. @leannemo7382 on December 31, 2023 at 8:44 am

#JanetShamlian a sham? What a rude reporter. "You call that a clue?" she asks snarkily before spewing "Are you saying you didn’t bury it?" Mr. Fenn politely counteracts her ridiculous conclusion. In what world does – if it’s not in a graveyard, then it must not be buried – make any logical sense? Even her glib response to his clarification stinks of narcissism, "He’s giving me some backtalk here." One would think a middle-aged reporter on the #TodayShow would be seasoned, act professional, and exhibit class. Nope.

    Just think for a second:
2 million dollars of gold is about 1630 ounces each one is 28.34 grams which means the total gold is weight approx. 46.22 KG !!! the chest alone has to carry that weight which means it needs to be strong and heavy as well so u r looking at 100 pounds of treasure buried somewhere, it’s a large treasure box, not like in the poem: "just take the chase and go away", it won’t be easy to carry!!!

  5. @jeffreyschmokdt71 on December 31, 2023 at 8:45 am

it’s not in a grave yard but you have to get wet to get it, where warm waters turn to cold. I would bet its behind a waterfall named glacier waterfall. above where the brown trout call home

  6. @nunyabizniss6934 on December 31, 2023 at 8:46 am

That Forest Ranger is full of shit, I can tell you that much. You can dig to your heart’s content on National Forest. It’s called "prospecting". You can even stake a claim and come in there with heavy equipment if you want to get serious about digging. Additionally, he says the treasure would belong to the people(government really), that’s a lie as well. The treasure is/was owned by Mr. Fenn, and he has clearly transferred the ownership to the finder. Since it is not an in situ artifact, the state archeologists have no claim to it whatsoever.

  7. @SSpees on December 31, 2023 at 8:46 am

It would be cool if someone would make copies of the chest and fill it with gold foil covered chocolate coins and hide it in the parks across new mexico to be found. It would certainly make the news.

  8. @Scott.Farkus on December 31, 2023 at 8:47 am

It’s already been found, and the finder was smart enough to take the chest and go in peace, without bothering to tell the park police who would have confiscated it claiming it belonged to the park.

  9. @freedamerican5243 on December 31, 2023 at 8:47 am

    It’s been found now!

  10. @homerwisenheimer213 on December 31, 2023 at 8:48 am

Be aware call 811 before you dig you may hit a genocide.

  11. @SamSam-iv5gp on December 31, 2023 at 8:48 am

this sad old man is full of shit there is no gold at all he just wants to be on tv

  12. @r.a.9406 on December 31, 2023 at 8:50 am

The US Army stole the gold from Babe and Doc Noss in the 1950’s. These two were totally swindled out of the treasure they laid claim to. Google Unsolved Mysteries Victoria Peak gold.

  13. @patriotjon8535 on December 31, 2023 at 8:52 am

WE THE PEOPLE own those sites. BLM and Forest Service can take a hike!!! They lay claim to EVERYTHING on PUBLIC lands as if it were THIER Private lands!!!

  14. @deangrifin7551 on December 31, 2023 at 8:54 am

    It’s finders keepers bitch

  15. @artemus628 on December 31, 2023 at 8:55 am

    Con Man & Charlatan…

  16. @thekiddler26 on December 31, 2023 at 8:55 am

And then you wonder why people wouldn’t tell anyone they found it. The US would snatch it up

  17. @JustinLodes on December 31, 2023 at 9:00 am

New clue. It’s in a place with rocks and ants 😂

  18. @allenfranklin7775 on December 31, 2023 at 9:02 am

Guess the clue is its not on public lands. Forrest grew up around the parks his whole life so he would know the laws.. Also its where a 79 year old man can walk or a kid carrying 42 pounds.. Probably gonna shock people when its found hid in plain site. He capitalized the letter B in Brown for a reason as well. I agree with him about getting kids off the computers and cellphones and back out in the open air for family fun and adventure. Bravo Mr. Fenn!

  19. @note2owns on December 31, 2023 at 9:02 am

The reporter should get on her knees and act like she is unbuttoning his pants. I guarantee he will tell you where the treasure is in a heartbeat…..

  20. @1432bird on December 31, 2023 at 9:02 am

You guys have no clue-Look at the writing in the book-clues are different italics DOOH

  21. @fins59 on December 31, 2023 at 9:03 am

Interesting how originally it was said to be in NM then later it was the Rockies.

  22. @mrdan322 on December 31, 2023 at 9:04 am

I was going to look for it. But now I will not even try. If I can’t keep it.

  23. @DartsIncidentsandMoments on December 31, 2023 at 9:06 am

Here is a possibility. Someone has foudn it and isn’t going public to prevent harassment for money and gold.

  24. @L337g4m3r on December 31, 2023 at 9:09 am

I know where it is!  It is hidden under a big dubblya!

  25. @emilygaza6907 on December 31, 2023 at 9:10 am

Mr. Fenn never relinquished his ownership of the treasure and he said he gives it to whomever finds it.

  26. @Daletheestallion on December 31, 2023 at 9:12 am

    It’s in Wyoming

  27. @happysingle9226 on December 31, 2023 at 9:12 am

What about the box? , is it waterproof ? Wouldn’t he have put it somewhere to keep it dry?or out of the weather or to keep the sun from reflecting off of it at least.

  28. @ursiny33 on December 31, 2023 at 9:13 am

Well all you will find is a title to the treasure and one gold coin for the forest service and BLM to fight over, forrest is smart he had these guys to try to screw him over before, i give you the solve to the poem, 75 miles from Santa fe is garcia park colfax county new mexico at tge park is garcia peak at that peak is a lake called agua fria it means cold water in Spainish, and if you follow cold water creek in English down the canyon about 5 miles just past the agua fria campsite on the rim there is a intersecting canyon mr browns place its called bear canyon its no place for the meek just because big brown grizzly bears live there for the winter den months, but it a heavy climb up that canyon to the high water a little lake at the top of the canyon on the other side of the lake the canyon forks on left is the stream feeding the lake the right fork is a dry creek up the creek without a paddle it leads up to a primitive camp site called bear canyon camp site then you go to the blaze blazos Spainish for fire you go the campfire look down dig up the treasure its where the greatest stories ever told are told by the story tellers N36.38420 W105.12278 forrest at 80 years old drove the ranger road to within a half a mile of bear canyon campsite and walked the poem is the long hike around to the spot. ursiny33@gmail.com

  29. @bantalee2002 on December 31, 2023 at 9:16 am

I will never go to New Mexico and I am telling all my friends who have an interest in the treasure to check out a youtube video.  Yeah..I have a hard time coming to grips with a heavily armed police squad killing a person who was homeless(alleged) in New Mexico. Yeah, the poor guy had a couple of knives he was pulling out and disarming himself but no good reason for 5 cops and  a police dog claiming they were protecting themselves..one young man, someones son murdered in New Mexico.  Mr. Fenns treasure can stay in NM. It is not in NM. Its in Colorado.

  30. @leoabel524 on December 31, 2023 at 9:18 am

Some Colorado man died looking for it a few years ago, and then his ex-wife (been apart for years) made a big deal of it, organized searches, and file a lawsuit for wrongful death, someone always wants a payday!

  31. @SamFreedom on December 31, 2023 at 9:19 am

    Sociopath

  32. @dongray3258 on December 31, 2023 at 9:21 am

Well I am disabled so I will never be able to look for the treasure although I have a pretty good idea where it is I am pondering whether or not to tell somebody I probably will… I will leave you with what I think Fenns most telling clue is and that is the home of brown,& no it’s not a bear and it’s not a house for people… The word Blaze will also help you immensely to, isn’t that right Mr Fenn..

  33. @nhragold1922 on December 31, 2023 at 9:22 am

We are allowed to prospect national forest lands. That guy just doesn’t want people looking. I can dig as much unclaimed national forest as I want. Or I can stake a mineral claim and mine the entire thing if I want

  34. @seeker61z81 on December 31, 2023 at 9:22 am

The treasure is the going to search for it..the quest..seizing the outside.

  35. @wp4866 on December 31, 2023 at 9:25 am

i wager this old coot buried nothing but his last dump

  36. @merlinlucas8280 on December 31, 2023 at 9:26 am

    It’s not there anymore.

  37. @L337g4m3r on December 31, 2023 at 9:28 am

So if you find the treasure the government is going to come and take it from you?   Screw that.  Someone should tell this guy and then he could get his treasure back and hide it somewhere where the government can’t get their grubby mitts on it.

  38. @hgn2090 on December 31, 2023 at 9:28 am

  39. @charliem.1801 on December 31, 2023 at 9:28 am

It belongs to the United States? What a bunch of cunts. Fuck you land stealing motherfuckers

  44. @jandrefelix3577 on December 31, 2023 at 9:35 am

When can I speak with "the people of the united states" so called claimant to get firsthand testimony in the matter?
Have you ever spoken to the one you claim you represent so called ranger?
What firsthand testimony can you provide that you even spoke to the one you claim you represent?
Other than that who has an issue with me using whatever I find on that land?
Allegedly I hear there is already a claimant of that land – Allegedly it’s the creator’s land.
