Metal Detecting And Exploring West Virginia Part 1

Metal Detecting And Exploring West Virginia Part 1

Please join us as we venture deep into the mountains of West Virginia to metal detect and explore two old homesteads in the mountains. We have a great time and find some cool relics to include buttons, bottles, and maybe even a bear’s lair.

When you pointed out the lay of the land and said that these are poor people…I marveled at their resourcefulness to preserve their food, buy only what was needed. Amazing grit these people had to carve out a life on that mountain. Amazing! YES! Return!

  6. Tina Butler on October 12, 2022 at 9:42 am

Would love to see what you would find if you dig some more. I love seeing the old relics.

  7. Mike Sharp on October 12, 2022 at 9:42 am

Chigg… My pup and I left Tennessee Thursday and traveled up through West Virginia. (I’m from Beckley originally). Right now we’re heading up I 81 and presently at Cedar Creek battlefield to check it out. We are heading north on 81, heading towards Harper’s Ferry, Hagerstown area and the eastern panhandle of WV and looking for places to swing the detector. Can you give any pointers or suggestions to help us? Been watching your videos for several years and you are the best in the business! Thanks to Todd too. Would love to swing with you if that would be possible. Thank you!!!

  21. heden 1 on October 12, 2022 at 9:56 am

I’d be interested to watch if you went back. Maybe one of those bottles has a bunch of change in it.

  22. Randy flowers on October 12, 2022 at 9:57 am

I would love to know, have you even seen anything in the woods that you couldn’t explain or had a bad feel about somewhere you were at ?

  23. Michael Hargis on October 12, 2022 at 9:59 am

Chigg, I hope you go back to that location. I know it would be a major pain but, would bringing a portable screening box maybe help find smaller metal items? I get a good feeling about that sight. There’s goodies there for sure. Great, great video. Thanks for the video.

  24. Joe jones on October 12, 2022 at 9:59 am
