I have found more than one round little nugget like that one,… one was about the size of a safety pinhead,..I really don’t know how my coil picked up a signal from it??? Great video Chris.

I would pay to have information on good places to go looking. Like a map with a general area or 3 places. I’m from Oklahoma and there isn’t shit out here. I’m looking to make a trip. I’m sure other guys would pay for information also.

Thanks for the video. I know what you mean about pinpointing with these larger coils. I went out yesterday and found some baling wire and a screwdriver. Then I took a sample pan in a little wash and found gold in the first sample pan! Cleaned out about 40 gallons of dirt and brought it home and I’m going to run it today.

Great first find of the day, eh? But…what if there had been two of those nuggets? There are times you dump a handful of sand without scanning it. Or…do you give your dig area a final scan before you move on? Thanks for the video!
We are coming out to AZ in the next couple months to try out our new panning and metal detecting hobbies. Looking forward to the trip. So…should we try to plan our trip to the NW part of AZ…or the SE? We are planning to camp a little and stuff. Anyway…going to be a blast I’m sure!

I found a nice signal out in Rio Verde a couple of weeks ago….. Once I started digging it got sharper (the signal) using an XP ORX ……. I started digging and quickly, bam a small 1/2 gram nugget, but I still had a signal, and kept going….. Then another .60 gram and besides it a 1.6 gram…… and still had a signal by this time I’m at least 10" inches in the hole….. then a big 5 pound river rock blocks the way…Continue reading below
I dug around it and couldn’t budge the damn thing and after using a crevice tool and digging around it, I budged and moved it and saw glimmer.. …
Right under the rock was a 4.56 gram and a 2.8 gram next to each other…… I worked that hole for over (2) hours but got a total of 10.56 grams…. (9) nuggets total ….. I went to that spot because a week earlier I found a really shinny .42 gram in the tree roots of an overturned tree by the river bed …….. So I had this gut feeling …….
And now the last (2) weeks a dry spell ……. This is all new for me the prospecting and hunting …… Still looking for the next spot…..Ha … Thanks for your videos man…. They inspire me ……

What detector do you recommend for the average person to find gold? The one you were using seems to be a Minelab. But Whites also has a pulse detector. You did a video with a Fors gold. You did find some gold with it. Whats your experience? What area of AZ. was this? I’m looking at property near Kingman, but would want to know if there is public property out there to detect.
