What an amazing gold coin Petet! It’s days like these which lure you back to the next metal detecting spot. Was wondering if you would please provide me with the contact info for Larry Cissna so that I might find out where the next NDL hunt will be located? Thanks man, keep them coming. 31. Paul Callicoat on November 12, 2022 at 12:19 pm

Man,this video has more going for it than all those Discovery programs. It’s even got the drama with ragging on the gold finder. I found 1 gold coin in 45 years of detecting and know only a few others who found one. The Barber was in nice shape and I’ve only found 2 that I was able to read the date. Lots of jewelry and silver coins. I was present when a few seated silvers were found but never got one myself. I guess I was too busy raising a family and working to go enough to find the better stuff. I hunted the battle grounds in Virginia and found lot of relics and bullets. You guys had a great time and didn’t get wet or froze doing it,too. Keep digging and remember, its only worth what you think it is. I have given silver coins and relics to the land owners and delighted in the joy they got from knowing it was likely their ancestors who lost it.Permissions are hard to come now but in the past if I found something real valuable I shared it with them.I come from farming people and know how hard it is to live on the land.
