Went to an old picnic area that I’ve had some luck at before. I was able to squeak out a few targets my brother and I have both missed in the past. Great hunting, I like 5he old compacts and random old pieces of copper or brass, you know they had a purpose long ago. Nice silvers too, I’m still looking for my first Barber anything

I believe the round piece with the 3 triangle pieces sticking up is a pump or motor coupler. Very cool!! I’ve never seen one of those handheld finders before!!

You found some treasures the 1928 mercury Dime is in great condition.
Outstanding hunt Shawn, I’d love a haul like that.
I hate the smell of OFF so I take a couple cloves of garlic and blend them up in some water. I then strain the chunks out and put the water in a spray bottle. Put in on like you would for OFF and the smell goes away pretty fast but the mossy’s hate that smell so keep away. Maybe some people can smell it but I can’t detect it within minutes. Where you live the mosquitoes are numerous and big.Where I live they are smaller but can be annoying.Some claim that if you eat a lot of garlic you will repel them but if I ate that much I can’t sleep as it makes me sweat and I keep breaking out in opera singing and craving pizza and wine.
