I have found small peices of gold In monroe county Missouri and Randolph county, Macon county… I wasn’t looking for gold but found it. And I can’t wait to get to the places I have found it and pan for more.

I love the outdoors and I’ve always wanted to pan for gold but I have zero confidence that there is any near me. Ive ordered a pan and Ive started making my own "tube sucking pipe". Basically all I want to know is. What are the odds of me finding anything based off of my location?
Have you ever prospected in south central missouri ? I’m about an hour south in the lead belt and after this pandemic and cold winter I’m ready to get out and give it a try. My wife and I are always hunting , fishing and searching for artifacts so I bought a couple pans to take along . By the way, great vids !

If it’s "chunky" gold then It’s NOT glacier gold. It’s worn crystalline gold. From the load it eroded from.
