I metal detect and that was as staged as it gets. Our southwestern states are just like that and you don’t just sweep away soil that easy once it’s been wet and dried a few times it is like concrete. And the artifacts are a complete jumble of tourist junk. If those were real the pottery alone would be valuable. But our hero just broke it like a beer bottle to get it open. And I never wear a costume mask when I dig. 🤦♂️
