Mountain Creek: Roadside Treasure Hunt
This is a very nice little creek that actually gets big towards the bottom. I”m looking for “out the window” treasures.

WOW, I never thought that my little channel would be mentioned by EA, I just wanted you to see what an influence you had on her. We REALLY appreciate it. Even before this, your channel has been one of my favorites. Again, thank you so much and thanks to everyone who has watched, commented and subscribed. Mom doesn’t know yet and I can’t wait for her to see it. She will either laugh or cry or maybe both. Thanks again, you are a real gentleman.
I started watching the detectorists. I loved it! My husband and I metal detect and I love the British shows. My husband not so much into the British shows. But we found it funny, thanks for the suggestion. Keep exploring, we love your channel.

You only dig the buckles and leave the bones below…
That’s one of my favorite shows . Mackenzie crook was great in the pirates series.
You must read a lot, or you teach. I did before I retired…

To "get your ear around" the various British accents, you have to watch British programs. Preferably with the captioning on. And anything you don’t understand, try to look it up online. I recommend a British comedy (safe as houses for the kids, ha! British saying) "Are You Being Served" ran from the early 1970’s to the mid-1980’s. And it is on You Tube. Also, "Keeping Up Appearances" and "The Last of the Summer Wine".

lmao off I caught myself leaning away from the spider when you walked around it. Im from Indiana, heading to Alabama t the end of the month. might have to walk a few creeks when im down there.
this is probably just me being crazy but when i see those stones with a perfect hole made through them at the top i think of Noah in the bible. They used anchor stones
Dang you. Now Iâm watching detectorist. Wonât be long before I have a rusted out Willyâs in the yard!

Love your conversations, makes me feel I’m beside you. There looks like there maybe some good swishing spots in this particular creek. Great fun thank you!

Oh, hell… You’re a DJ …..
I would love that car tag! I live in Texas and collect plates.
those big leaves make good umbrellas. that’s what we made with them when we was kids playing in the woods and it would start raining.
For you, EA https://youtu.be/bvFuUaCe8eY
We call those little crab looking spiders "Fire Spiders" because they will bite the fire out of you. Pretty creek.
Was a fun walk with you this morning.thank you
Bigfoot likes to follow along side you when they do it. Just out of sightđ
I want that tag
This video is a few years old but it got me thinking. It is crappy on Alabama roadsides. When I was younger I had someone swerve at me on a bike too. Im from Decatur so it could have been the same truck!! Also when I was about 13 or so I was walking across a overpass above train tracks and someone threw a mountain we bottle and hit me in my noggin. If is was around 13 that would put it around 1993 and the bottles were that green glass back then. Luckily the car was going pretty slow and the bottle just bounced off my head and didn’t break. I just had a good bump on the noodle for a week lol
Do you use any kind of insect repellent? If so what? I recently walked into a nest of chiggers by a small pond and went through hell for the following 2 weeks.
Are those wooden beams or metal beams along side of the road? I think the rocks with holes in them look like bore holes from when they built the road. I guess that is what you would call them. Bore the holes and pop in a stick of tnt.
Thank you so much for the share. Stay safe, I worry when you are walking the creek along a road for fear that someone in a car will pitch out a bottle and bean you on the bean with it.
I like you talking about nothing but everything. Its how I think . lol
Thank you…Natti
Wasted away in mosquitoville? Hahahaha!! đ
Binge watched both seasons of Detectorist. Loved it! Super crushing on Sophie. Thanks for the recommendation. GL and HH.

Series 3 of Detectorists starts on tv in the UK near the end of the year woo hoo cant wait for it .
Pyrite otherwise known as fools gold.
As a kid we would throw rocks at this yellow jacket nest in the woods by my house. One day my Mom was throwing out a small bathroom rug. My friend and I figured it would be a good idea to toss the rug over the yellow jacket hole. We didnât count on them having a back door. We ran onto the screen porch and had bees all over us. I remember smashing them like misquotes on my arms. Got stung 100âs of times that day.
I like the grabber made by Stanley Ace hardware around father day 5 bucks
Drill a new hole and re attach them
The humor in the series âdetectoristsâ is classic dry British humor and I adore the series! I just hope thereâs another season. My favorite bit is in season two where they are discussing an older detectorist named bob crommer, who passed away and was buried with his finds and someone dug bob up and grave robbed the poor guy. And one of the characters mutters. â… poor old bob. Bet he never thought he would end up on that end of a detector…..â
I spewed iced tea through my nose….
I watched the detectorists! Loved it! You need to turn on the captions when you watch British shows to catch everything they say.
Is that a human skull on your right as you start down the steps?
I take it you’ve been watching " Detectorists " . Funny as hell (if your english) , get it watched people .
