Military would come in 1876 to remove themselves from the unstated Indians and must report to our reservation by the end of January 1876 or else it will be considered hostiles by the government and Military Expedition would be sent to force them to even surrender or fight Cavalier destiny

The bonus of seeing Mt Rushmore is the beautiful drives towards it

Wouldโ€™ve been much better to have carved western iconsโ€ฆinstead, we have a group of Masonic DEMONS, who chronologically destroyed everything good about life in general. Boooo!

  7. Lee Atterberry on May 26, 2023 at 7:56 am

All right by now let’s just keep it real and straight to the point all the Black hills are in Mount Rushmore is is laying that America stole from the Indians

    we’re a Constitutional Republic not a democracy.
In a democracy, the majority rules. If the majority decided they want your bike, they could take it.
In a Republic, your bike is your property, and you do not owe it to anyone. It can not be taken against your will, by law.
    America is a Constitutional Republic.
Therefore, the Constitution is the law by which we suppose to be protected.
In a Republic, the Individual is protected FROM the majority, by Constitution law.
A Constitutional Republic is what we we’re given, IT UP TO US TO KEEP IT.

The United States of America is a Constitution Republic. Stop labeling it as a castrated democracy.

  16. AllStar Hershey on May 26, 2023 at 8:03 am

This has to be one of the most ignorant videos I have ever seen. This was complete white-washed bullshit. Mt. Rushmore is no shrine of democracy, it is a shrine of white supremacy built on stolen land.

  17. Ezra Gonzalez on May 26, 2023 at 8:05 am

Mt Rushmore is the one "monument" that should had never existed its a total affront to the natives and sacrilegious to nature! yeah the faces that took over your land! just disgusting

The ONLY thing that is good about this is the preserving of the Bison after almost Extinction. Maybe, they should put a Bison on Mt. Rushmore.

  26. Gerald hoskins on May 26, 2023 at 8:11 am

I got to see Rushmore and crazy horse in 2017 . it was a sight to see for a ole country boy from the hills of eastern Kentucky. We have the Appalachian mountains here in which I love but these land features do differ from the Appalachian chain . I wished I had got to see the bad lands during the day but we were driving through at night. I hope to go back some day and stand before Rushmore with some loved ones that were not here yet at the time I was there , my grand children. I don’t think crazy horse will be done in my lifetime but perhaps it will in theres. I do remember while we were there , at Rushmore , there was a frail old man signing books and with one glove on , shaking peoples hands, if I remember correctly he was one of , or the last remaining man to have worked on Rushmore. Looking back at it now , i m saddened that I didn’t get a picture with him . . to those who have not been , make no mistake , if you are thinking about a family vacation , this is a prime place .

To this day, Native Americans are sad that their holy land is desecrated and violated, and the sculptor Borglum’s links with KKK also add to the controversy. I think, one way to morally compensate is to federally fund Crazy Horse monument to completion. It also boosts tourism further.

  32. Sanchayan Sarkar on May 26, 2023 at 8:19 am

Isn’t Teddy Roosevelt the same guy who created a civil war in Panama and created the Panama canal destroying whatever ecosystem was there. He is also the same guy who said the "only good Indian is a dead Indian". A hunter of bears, etc. cannot be called a conservationist.

  33. Teresa Schneider on May 26, 2023 at 8:22 am

I was there over Thanksgiving and it was way more beautiful in person, definitely go if you have the chance! Take a look at some photography I took while on the road!: @t

  37. OutRayJS on May 26, 2023 at 8:26 am

A mystery. Are there caves under all that rubble? What do the Indians say about this place?
Shrouded in mystery and a cover- up with patriotism. Too bad no one is allowed to study that place freely.
I wonder what’s underneath the concrete and rubble?

  38. Chris Savage on May 26, 2023 at 8:27 am

This monument to white power is a desecration and a slap in the face to the Natives

  41. Kathleen Tucker on May 26, 2023 at 8:32 am

Isn’t it sad we admire this human creation, but we teach our kids that they are not the product of a loving, artistic Creator but just an accident of nature! It’s like saying MT. Rushmore is just a product of bazillions of years of erosion by wind and rain!!!!

  42. sandra morey on May 26, 2023 at 8:32 am

There are many ways to be Patriotic. The Black Hills are sacred to the Lakota & other tribes. It is traditional for the conquering nation to put it’s churches & monuments on top of the
losers’ churches and monuments to celebrate their power. That is what Mt. Rushmore is. To desecrate the beautiful and sacred Black Hills is shameful. I do not feel it is patriotic to
go and marvel at what was done to the sacred Black Hills. (Not too crazy about the Sitting Bull monument either).

  44. Kathleen Tucker on May 26, 2023 at 8:39 am

I am sorry for the Native people and all they have suffered and for their betrayal by the U.S. government. I am sorry and ashamed!!!

  45. sslcfc on May 26, 2023 at 8:40 am

Yeah too bad OBiden Administration Pulled the permits for 2021 with no reason. Why would they ever allow patriotism. They rule by hatred. No 4rth of July this year.

  46. Tom Murphy on May 26, 2023 at 8:40 am

    Going there this summer 2023

  47. L Lim on May 26, 2023 at 8:41 am

Great documentary. We moved from Missouri to South Dakota, the west side a couple of years ago. I love the black hills. Thanks for sharing.

  48. Pam Sylvester on May 26, 2023 at 8:42 am

Read the history and the Sioux took the hills by force and the white man took it away from the Sioux in turn by force

  49. zackiej89 on May 26, 2023 at 8:42 am

Mt Rushmore should’ve never happened. It desecrated sacred Native Land with the faces of the race that took that land from them. The ultimate disrespect. So sad.

  50. J. on May 26, 2023 at 8:45 am

If you find this memorial offensive you shouldn’t be here in this great country. Awesome Video
