In 1977, Terry Pettit made an intentional effort to grow the sport of women’s volleyball in our state. When he retired as Head Coach of Nebraska Volleyball some twenty years later, the “Godfather of Volleyball” had created a strong foundation for high school, club, and college coaches to continue building upon.
