If the door was left open the skunk may have left.

Always love these exploration videos. I live pretty far away from Nevada, so chances are I won’t get to see those ruins any time soon. These videos make me feel as if I’ve seen them first hand!! Well done as always. Thanks!

Beautiful country sir. havent made it out to Nevada yet. There are a lot of old iorn ore mines where i live that have similar character. I have to ask. What was the block and concrete structure remains at the end of the video.

Always cool when you come across old abandoned stuff from a bygone era like this. I love wandering around and imagining the history. I see you had a gun with you πŸ˜† but refrained from shooting ! Musta been tough ! πŸ˜‰

Hey man, are you still making videos? You’re one of my favorites gun content creators on here and hadn’t seen any recent activity.

Also, if you’re interested in old mining history and old west history in general, you always have an invite to come up to Utah and see what the San Rafael Swell & carbon county has to offer from me!

  16. THE WINE LOUNGE on January 16, 2023 at 8:31 am

Thanks for the video / trip. What county / area would you recommend in Northern Nevada for an off grid retreat?

  17. GatorMan Ruth on January 16, 2023 at 8:32 am

I’m a truck driver and have traveled Nevada many times and think it is a intriguing state. Quite beautiful and you can’t help but think of the pioneers when trucking across the mountains and desserts. Thanks for the mini tour , this Florida boy enjoyed it. Now I have to look for more like it. B-)

  18. Ronald Weiss on January 16, 2023 at 8:37 am

You’re in pretty good shape the way you jump around in those old foundations. I’m a fan.

  19. Osvaldo Pontes on January 16, 2023 at 8:38 am

I have a very special relationship with Nevada. I’ve been there about 15 times. For me it is the best state in the United States to live in … without saying that maybe it is one of those of greater freedom ….Greetings com Brazil!!!!

  21. ronnie cardy on January 16, 2023 at 8:39 am

Shame people have to kick in walls and tear things up that don’t belong to them

  22. Jonathan Honaker on January 16, 2023 at 8:40 am

Hey Mixup. I love your videos. When I watched the first video of yours have seen (Nylon 66), I knew you where in Nevada. I was just curious as to what area you reside in, if you don’t mind saying.

  23. trevor philips on January 16, 2023 at 8:41 am

i will DEFINITELY be open carrying in those parts lol. i can’t wait to explore nevada! some suggested carrying a geiger counter due to radiation at some areas

  24. Ralph Perez on January 16, 2023 at 8:41 am

Enjoying your videos here today as I work and take breaks. Looks a lot like Idaho abandoned mines

  25. David Firth on January 16, 2023 at 8:42 am

    Beautiful

  27. Nomad 1700 on January 16, 2023 at 8:42 am

Now that was one handsome skunk mixup, and I’m here to tell you if you’d a opened a can of sardines in that little cabin, the kind packed in oil, not only would that little critter come and eat right out of your hand, but about half way through it would be climbing up onto your lap, to place both tiny paws on your shirt so it could reach up and lick your face!

And THAT would be worth more than all the gold that ever was hauled out of that desolate patch of dry earth.

  28. Bonzi Buddy on January 16, 2023 at 8:42 am

    Western spotted skunk?

  29. Gregg Woods on January 16, 2023 at 8:45 am

Cool.. Looks like the area looking north toward the oregon border.

  30. Iridium242 on January 16, 2023 at 8:46 am

This sort of looks like an area around where I live near Pahrump. Love this state. I have a friend that liked to go up in the hills and discover old camps, he never did videos wish he had done some.

  31. J JEM on January 16, 2023 at 8:46 am

That was so kool…A place where time has stopped… "my kinda place." Be well and safe out there.

  32. Alex Grifaldo on January 16, 2023 at 8:47 am

any idea how long its been abandoned?

  33. hit man hank on January 16, 2023 at 8:47 am

Love the old cars in the video. I seem to remember being sprayed by a skunk with you once long ago. Very cool video.

  34. lee sherman on January 16, 2023 at 8:47 am

Model T Ford and what looks like a ’41 Chevy. Great adventures. Thanks.

  35. Toozman on January 16, 2023 at 8:48 am

Very cool Mixup. That first cabin looked almost intact for a good hunting camp. Although I am sure it’s colder than a well diggers behind in winter.

  36. Disney Angel Mark on January 16, 2023 at 8:50 am

Let’s do a trip to Death Valley! Lots of old mines! My 4X buddies and I prowled that area from 1989-1998….. Good times!

  37. Bones98 on January 16, 2023 at 8:52 am

I wonder whats the story behind that shot up car that was left upside down.

  38. MichiganDeerHunter1 on January 16, 2023 at 8:54 am

Very cool video. A brief history of some of the camps would be interesting. Is information on them available?

absolutely incredible! thank you for taking us along! also, i’ve never seen a skunk with those markings before. here in texas where i live we don’t have skunks with those same markings (none that i’ve ever seen)…very very different and here in the country where i live we have lots of skunks. it’s normal to see a skunk here from dusk till dawn almost everyday. really good look at just incredible views…thank you!

  43. somerville99 on January 16, 2023 at 9:01 am

Looks like an expensive piece of equipment to leave behind at 2:10. Why not truck it out?

  44. J. Aurich on January 16, 2023 at 9:01 am

I remember going to some remote Mining Towns in the late 70s and returning to some of them 10 years later and finding complete cabins gone in that amount of time!!! It’s a shame !! Doing what I can in Goldfield, to save the last two great mines that are the only two in the district that still have their original buildings and equipment……

  45. ISXCUMMINS 565 on January 16, 2023 at 9:02 am

TN trucker here, I’ve bin across i80 serval times, too but don’t really care for the NV DOT, they make oversize carriers cover there strobe lights when not in use….

What was that partially constructed building going to be for? Lots of concrete foundations where normally everything in these videos is made out of wood

  48. didimitten on January 16, 2023 at 9:07 am

It’s crazy to think that these places are just abandoned and left alone. Really interesting video. Thanks for sharing!

  49. James Dougherty on January 16, 2023 at 9:07 am

Would like to know where the mine with the stream coming out of it is? Grew up in Lemmon Balley, we used to wander all over the state!!!
