PROSPECTING AND CREVICING – COOS CANYON MAINE GOLD

I live in Maine and I have planned for gold on the koyukuk river in Alaska. This would have been a nice start.

I’ve never found gold I have a new metal detector I’ve done a bunch of searching in the river out back where I live very secluded no one goes out there it’s a beautiful River and it’s gold exist I’m sure it would be there but I don’t know if the gold is in this River or even around where I live that’s what I need to know

  23. Zion Gray on November 3, 2022 at 9:09 am

Hey bro check out a "Corn Knife" from TRACTOR SUPPLY STORE. They have em on there online store too. Its like a 12 inch long n flat steel hook with a hollow aluminum handle that u can use with 1 or 2 hands. The steel is hard ive used it on hard ancient hardpack like a pick its tuff. Ive had mine for 7 or so years. But u can crevice remove rocks and pound break n scrape hardrock n paydirt. It will scoop from the crevices too. Best side mining tool i own. Check it out theyre only like 14 dollars. Beautiful daughter man she has a really cool dad. I hope me n my daughter can have that type of relationship when shes older….if u go to cali ill point u to some 1800s virgin spots that rich people partyed at.

I would love to see a video in Minnesota. MN sucks for prospecting but there have been unconfirmed posts on FB of pickers in the Straight River near Owatana and Sauk Center. Over the river in Wisconsin in Pierce county there is a ancient meteor impact sight called Nugget Lake County Park where people routinely find gold and sometimes diamonds. Please, no video on Agates! lol

  25. வீர வன்னியர்கள் on November 3, 2022 at 9:11 am

  26. KHUFF308 H on November 3, 2022 at 9:12 am

You do a great job on your videos. I watch all your videos. Wish there was more gold to find in creeks here in Virginia were I live. There is some but not much. Great job on your videos!!!

  27. mike gallagher on November 3, 2022 at 9:15 am

  28. Ray C on November 3, 2022 at 9:16 am

I’m a native Mainer and I am going to Coos Canyon in Byron with my gold prospecting group on Saturday, hopefully to find my first nugget! I just love to watch your videos!

  31. Harry Farmer on November 3, 2022 at 9:20 am

About 2 hours north of me. I’m glad you visited our beautiful state.

  32. Cowboy Geologist on November 3, 2022 at 9:22 am

I haven’t yelled at the TV like that in a long time. When you were throwing everything in the river at the beginning, I was telling, "Noooooo! Don’t throw the frost heave in the river when you have a bucket and pan right there!". LoL Nice video.

  33. Aco747lyte on November 3, 2022 at 9:24 am

Nice seeing you showing your daughter crevicing, and I like your crevicing tools. …I forge our own so each sit well in our hand and are well balanced. I also get to choose the hardest steel, too. My daughter and I enjoyed your video; it’s reminiscent of what we are doing before we don our wetsuits and snorkels and enter our river to snipe. Best, ~Wendi

  34. Travis Tozier on November 3, 2022 at 9:29 am

I live 40 miles from coos canyon. I’m gonna hit it this spring. Hopefully I’ll get some good gold deposited from spring run off.

  35. Dutch Vanderline on November 3, 2022 at 9:30 am

Did you hear the traditional deep Maine greeting?
“Eh dare Scheppah?”… translation “Hey there Skipper?”.

  43. casper12221 on November 3, 2022 at 9:36 am

The time that you’ve had to spend out with Aries is more precious than gold.
My first prospecting event will be in late July /early August in Juneau, AK while visiting my daughter.
    Wish us luck!

  48. Stephen Pike on November 3, 2022 at 9:40 am

Nice to see Father and daughter out prospecting !
Klesh, you do NOT look old enough to be her Dad! I think you mustve found the fountain of youth during one of your treasure hunts…

  49. sally Bowers on November 3, 2022 at 9:40 am

Off the coast of maine is a fold belt..I would think enough to damage the gold market…all of maine is volcanic..the ocean is where the gold went..but how do you find the gold belt.mmm
