I agree with Jonah D. you washed more gold through that sluice than you caught. Poor examples of sluicing like this reflects on you and your limited understanding of the procedure. Learn to do it properly and you’ll double or triple your take.

I’m only a beginner and I can tell that you washed at least half your gold down the sluice. Check out techniques on runnin your sluice better.
Thanks Jonah. Possibly so but this is Nebraska. There isn’t much gold here but that little bit is about as good as it gets here. Was kind of experimenting with the sluice too. Cheers!!!

Would love to go out and go panning in Nebraska. I also have a small mini sluice. I’m in Fremont Nebraska but willing to travel. Would love to find a group to join. I’m apart of the gpaa already but they do not have claims in Nebraska.
Where are you at in Nebraska? I’m a prospector in Lincoln, NE but we have to get out of state usually. Would love to know if I could save on some gas and stay more local to find some good old Gold!
