Beautiful surroundings. Whereabouts in Tennessee are these swimming locations? We recently moved to East Tennessee and would love a place like that to use our paddle boards. Happy hunting!! 😉

Love the hat ! I use the 30 minute rule. If i don’t find anything good within those 30 minutes, i leave that area. What about local parks or high school sports field?

I am just watching the vids because the girl is pretty. However, it did look like part of an arrowhead was unearthed around 258-300 minute mark. Seems like a cool hobby though. I’ve watched and subscribed.

You need to contact owners of old dilapitaded houses and abandoned property..explain who you are and offer a split if anything good is found..you are pleasant enough and definitely cute enough to talk your way in..I feel bad you always getting trash aluminum..

  11. Weasel 6Three on October 10, 2022 at 9:14 am

Great hunt! One point that I want to add is when you find a target with the detector, use the pinpointer to narrow the exact spot. That way you don’t have to dig that much. Keep the videos coming!

I’m new to metal detecting also and haven’t found gold yet, but I also hunt for artifacts also. Creek and river banks after a good rain are best for me. Great videos!

Get a good chisel and a hammer you might need it. If you nail a screen to the bottom of a wooden square a couple of inches deep it would be faster at recovery

Sandbars on rivers are really hard work..the aluminum cans get ground up and spread all over the place plus fishing sinkers. But I enjoyed your video.

  36. William Kirkland on October 10, 2022 at 9:47 am

Did you ever pan for gold in the lake ?

    Nice hunt. Enjoyed it!

  42. mountainhike100 on October 10, 2022 at 9:53 am

That trash you are finding is also treasure when you think about how much fun you had, or how you got to be outdoors. Will have to keep an eye on you and see what treasure you someday will find. After many years that I have done metal detecting I have to say the day that I found a saddle from a very long time ago was my super treasure. There were only a couple parts of leather still on it the rest was gone. After digging maybe 12" deep or more I started finding all the saddle parts. Gave them to a local museum that was very happy to have them. That was about 20 years ago and lots of trash, but still waiting for that next big treasure. So go and dig up some more trash, we are all with you.

  43. Larry Dennis on October 10, 2022 at 9:53 am

I love the positive attitude, it’s hard to maintain that sometimes with those dang aluminum cans!

Trying to catch up with all of your videos – since I just subscribed to you a little over a week ago. Have you been back to this location with a waterproof metal detector to try in the shallow water?

  47. PoHr Folks Historical Society on October 10, 2022 at 9:57 am

You have too much fun. It’s the thrill of the hunt that does it for me. I always find crud. Don’t be afraid to get permissions. Oh, get your hands down in there. Lol fun, fun, fun.
