If it were me down there, when the cameras weren’t rolling I would totally touch whatever I wanted and when they told me to come up I would tell them where to go ha ha

  5. Rob Manning on August 4, 2022 at 12:29 am

Not being able to pick stuff up from the bottom of a lake sounds like a bs excuse for never finding anything.

I thought they were aloud to fan on the bottom.

  11. Johnnie Antler on August 4, 2022 at 12:34 am

I can’t help but think if they were serious they would have a dozen metal detectors out there searching. These shows always ask the question “if” or “ could it be”. And they always seem to find some piece of something that supposedly proves their theory. As for the underwater finds, tho they can’t touch or move an object, they could sure fan the sand off to see the object. Remarkable…it is a made for TV adventure after all…still I get a kick out of the show.

  12. C. H. on August 4, 2022 at 12:35 am

Could you not use a metal detector to determine whether or not the objects underwater were masonry bricks or gold bricks? Non-invasive, not touching in any way, and perfectly legal. Did you not do it to keep the show going on? Come on, Guys!

  13. Lonnie Summy on August 4, 2022 at 12:35 am

You guys waste more time looking for stuff. You find two or three things and you quit. You are just making money making a movie.

  14. Bomb Ass Beef Jerky on August 4, 2022 at 12:35 am

Why did they not have metal detectors under water ?

Sun sparkles off the water-it’s gold. Light reflects off a can of beans-found the gold. It’s gotta be right around here

  22. Phillip McCutcheon on August 4, 2022 at 12:48 am

Why did they not run a metal detection on the dive over suspected bars.

  23. Tony Sigsby on August 4, 2022 at 12:48 am

How about sending down a couple more tanks on the anchor rope

  24. Kapt Krunch on August 4, 2022 at 12:48 am

It was well kept family secret, until the mayor wrote a book about it. LMAO!

  25. Ant on August 4, 2022 at 12:49 am

if anything is going on, it’s an investigation. Question, did you get robbed? I suspect someone made a withdrawal from the repository. Searching Masonry for answers, basically a distress call. You got jacked yeah?

  26. BobbyT223 on August 4, 2022 at 12:50 am

These shows are basically a near hour long advertisement for some of the latest technical inovations available.

  27. Wade Parker on August 4, 2022 at 12:51 am

I’m sorry but this show is so lame! They can’t touch anything they find and everything they find is “probably a gold bar “it’s frustrating to watch but, I’m still watching lol 🙂

  28. Robert Peet on August 4, 2022 at 12:54 am

I guess I would have just as much chance of finding gold as they do , because what they are finding is no reason to dig there , none at all…….lmao….

  29. David Crouse on August 4, 2022 at 12:58 am

A horseshoe! The gold was hauled in a wagon pulled by horses! We are definitely on the right track! WHAT???

  30. U.S. Militia on August 4, 2022 at 12:58 am

If I were to bury some gold it would be in shallow body of water. It would never go bad and would be next to impossible to find.

  35. David Giles on August 4, 2022 at 1:05 am

Go to Poppy’s bbq in Thomson GA the best BBQ 🍖 n the planet It’s so good it’s almost a no-brainer to live there but I like the northern way up high in the No Northern Colorado Rockies.
The barbecue here is marginal and yet people say it’s the best day ever had clearly they have not had good barbecue

  36. Steph Lyons on August 4, 2022 at 1:05 am

Also a 6 x 12 gold bar is unheard of , usually and especially back then it would have been much much smaller. A foot long bar would weigh 80 lbs.

  49. BEARDEDYAKER on August 4, 2022 at 1:20 am

I don’t think it’s under the lake. How we’re they planning on going and getting it back up? Seems like somewhere on land was safer to retrieve later.

Hey Kevin, I think there’s gold on earth.
