The KNIGHTS TEMPLAR in RHODE ISLAND – Clues Leading to the HOLY GRAIL ? Visiting the Newport Tower and Narragansett Rune Stone
In the mid 1980’s clam diggers discovered a mysterious stone hidden in Narragansett Bay. The stone had some strange inscriptions on it which included a hooked X. This symbol was commonly used by the Freemasons who are closely related to the secret order of the Knights Templar.
Just across the bay from where the stone is displayed is a stone tower in Newport, Rhode Island. The Newport Tower is said to have been wind mill built by Governor Benedict Arnold (grandfather of the traitor). Due to the odd placement of the windows and the astronomical alignment of the archway keystones many people believe this was built way before Governor Arnold’s time. Another strange thing about the tower is that the keystones align with another place in North America where a stone similar to the Narragansett Stone was found.

Columbus WAS the Templar
It’s very interesting I watched this last week and have been looking into it and lots of theories exist around it. I can’t come to a conclusion myself but it is possible the Knights Templar did get to America and build it as they built round churches but this seems too small and basic but it maybe due to the number of them and the available skills, tools and labour at the time. I don’t think it’s well structured for a windmill as the arches would not make it structurally strong to have the sails moving around and would soon fall apart, old windmills made of all wood or stone bases usually had strong wider bases as a windmill creates vibration and is a strong force when milling or moving water etc. This just looks too ornamental and weak for that.

Um, if Freemasons also used the " hooked X" and they were numerous a couple hundred years ago (including Washington), Occam’s razor would suggest we first look at Freemasons instead of the more fantastic Templars

I briefly studied Old English (as in Runic pagan language) and these symbols look *very* similar. Infact the weird F symbol is identical to one from the language I studied, and the others look very familiar

I’ve seen a documentary where this tower was talked about and in that documentary (I can’t recall the name of it now) they showed an ancient Templar map of the east coast of the New England area that clearly documented the existence of the tower they had discovered in their travels. Native peoples to the area also had no idea of who had built the tower. That said, the antiquity is pushed way back on this tower. If Templars found it here, during their travels and the Native Americans say it was here long before their people, who do we look at now as the builders?
