The historian is a tool, Germany had some of the most advanced equipment of the time. Dont possibly think that if they truly believed they could turn the tide and get back into power, that they could develop the tech to recover it? He seemed a bit to dimissive of thier ambition.

Can you just imagine the amount of “sticky fingers” after the war? How many servicemen, officers and even normal citizens ended up filthy rich at the end of the war? Or even very well off. There was friggen train loads of gold and cash in country after country. There’s NO way it was all kept track of!
And Americans stole all including the scientists & gold . Without the Nazis US would have taken 4-5 more years to go to the moon

This piece also forgot the artwork stolen by Albert Speer and kept in safe keeping by a friend of his. Later when the fellow died Speer split the works I guess with the heir. Speer was the most slippery of all the Nazis saving his neck at Nuremberg when he should have been hung. He evicted Jews from Berlin to the camps, he kept the war going and there now is even evidence he approved certain construction at Auschwitz with his signature and therefor was knowledgeable about the camp.
