I love Holy Land USA in Waterbury. Not quite abandoned as it is partially restored, but still neat indeed.

I’m from Meriden, CT and castle Craig is not abandoned. I hike up with others when it’s open to the public. I think Meriden needs a do over.

I was hoping you would have included the Norwich State Hospital. That should’ve been #1!

Great Video ! I’ve been to 8 of these places , all super dope . I actually just found Elmcrest a few days ago and was going soon. Castle Craig is 10 mins from my house , it’s the easiest to access by far .

Castle Craig isn’t abandoned it’s just a observation tower. There’s dudleytown, fairfield hills etc A cool place that was abandoned and is now run by the state is New Gate Prison and Copper mine, they used to keep hundreds of prisoners during the colonial period in mine tunnels…

Omg you missed SO many good places in CT. I would totally redo this. I mean you didn’t even mention Dudleytown or Fairfield Hills..

My mother used to work at Remmington as a bullet tapper. She would tap on bullets to make sure they passed inspection. Many lost their hands and were severely injured if not killed when a tapped bullet exploded.

My father worked at Bridgeport Brass for 25 years.
