I’m not Into the value monetarily. But I would like to know the historical significance of the stuff you found. Any idea?

Brad I’ve been detecting for just over 50 yrs., and , if I had just 1 wish, it would be to go on just one hunt with you, you are the most informed young man I wish i I could have ever met. In my 83 years I’ve met a few, but you’re a keeper, keep up the great work

When you mentioned someone wiping out, when they lost the dime, I couldn’t help but think that maybe they were just wiping, if you get my drift.

  10. Jeffery Hainley on August 8, 2022 at 5:52 pm

That’s incredible.? Now you need to go to Mexico and find the aztec gold.

  11. Roy Magnus on August 8, 2022 at 5:55 pm

I always feel bad for whomever loses gold coins. It must have been a lot of money back then.

  26. Jeremy Crochtiere on August 8, 2022 at 6:11 pm

To new treasure hunters watching this,
If an item is to be dug up in the woods
    Always fill in the hole.

If digging in a grass area, moss area, or Field, be sure to cut out s square from the root cover, and refill the hole afterwards capping the filled hole with the square of Moss, Grass, vegetation mat that was removed.

Brad – I suggest that you go back every year or two to the sites you found this gold coin at, and the 8 Reale coin. You never know what rain and melting snow will wash out of the Earth!

10;57Sometimes you will find Uilenbraakballen. Metal rings of birds working groups for scientific research. where rings, when, place ect. But also pigeon rings for pigeon racing competitions.
always a whip over the pellets, you never know if a ring is in it. you can send this to a scientific investigation. often there is a number and the workgroup on the rings. then you often get an A4 with the details of the bird species, ringed in a nest, or caught with mist nets ect ect. very interesting.
