I have a Youtube channel called, N.Ga. Mine freaks where we go into some of these mines. You should not post locations of abandoned mines on the internet for everyone to see. I NEVER POST LOCATIONS ANYWHERE ONLINE. There are a lot of inexperienced people and kids who have no idea what they are getting into when they go into these mines. You may be held responsible for the information that you are posting. Some of these mines are more dangerous than caves. I get kids constantly wanting information on my channel and want give it to them, but now you’ve posted it for everyone to see.

Hey jess how are you, I wanted to ask a intelligent man like you about gold nuggets, does ga, have any big nugget gold. Because this one miner told me there was only small flake gold in ga not worth finding. He only goes after big 70,000 dollar nuggets. I wanted to ask a professional miner like you. Does ga have big nuggets

Hey jess, how did you get Google Earth to show all these mines ? Oh, i saw your pinned comment, thanks!

  12. David Johnson on August 8, 2022 at 2:53 pm

    According to Google:
"Gold mining” as a commercial venture really no longer exists in GA. This is mainly due to the fact GA does not have public / BLM “claims”. If you want to mine a piece of land you have to buy the piece of land."

One of the mines is Consolidated mine.
When they put a Walmart in, it was over an old gold mine. Yep, and they found plenty of gold when they dug the foundation.

Just so you no the Calhoun mine is not an active mine and if your caught there you will be chased with dogs and possibly shot.

Nice info. Can you stake a claim on federal land in Georgia?

  33. Marion Rhode Jr on August 8, 2022 at 3:26 pm

What type of map did you use ?

  34. David Johnson on August 8, 2022 at 3:26 pm

My biggest question is this, since you actually have to own the land in Georgia in order to stake a claim oh, and most of us really don’t have the money laying around or the financing that would go into this, what rivers can we Prospect gold from. I would travel to Georgia from Tennessee once I move there, I guess I would have to map the rivers myself

  35. zirixpo on August 8, 2022 at 3:28 pm

  36. David Johnson on August 8, 2022 at 3:32 pm

I have a request, a lot of people finding gold and Utah you know, the old dry River beds that don’t have water anymore. If you can show us a mapping I wear a lot of these Dry River beds are and Utah, you would probably help a lot of people if you had any information for pertaining to that
