You missed quite a bit. I know of about nine former gold mines in Rhode Island and several other location with very positive signs for gold and REE’s.

That iron and titanium is the state mineral of Rhode Island. It’s called, "Cumberlandite."
It was a used and it was the only place it was ever found, just a few acre deposit of high concentration. Most of it was dug up during the Civil War, to make cannons. It made defective cannons because of the titanium. Between 5 and 20%. Which wasn’t known at that time. Most if it was wasted. Today tgat titanium would be worth half a billion. You can fond pieces selling online but the best ones are in glacial till. They are round and have a nice surface with rectangular pitting.

Omg… I wish I could be able to do this here in Rhode Island. Its so hard to even go metal detecting here. Almost all the property is spoken for and if you trespass people go a little crazy here lol
